Case study on solving paint peeling prevention issues for food machinery manufacturers!
Significant Reduction in Peeling with the Addition of Phosphate Coating Treatment and Change of Paint!" ~Challenges~ Manufacturers producing food were concerned about the peeling of equipment paint, as they were involved in the production of items consumed by humans. They were also considering the potential health impacts caused by the paint and sought manufacturing equipment with high safety standards. ~Proposal~ To improve the adhesion between the substrate and the paint and prevent peeling, we proposed a phosphate coating treatment as a pre-treatment. Additionally, considering the food manufacturing machinery, we suggested using powder coatings to enhance safety for human health. ~Results~ By adding the pre-treatment, the adhesion between the metal substrate and the paint improved, leading to a reduction in paint film peeling.
