Adoption of a new refrigerant/HFO-1234yf that is not subject to the fluorocarbon emission control law. Significantly reduces fluorocarbon management workload, achieving high precision and energy savings with three inverter controls.

The non-fluorocarbon inverter chiller RKE1500C-VRA adopts the new refrigerant HFO-1234yf, reducing environmental impact and user burden. HFO-1234yf is not subject to inspection obligations or recovery obligations upon disposal under the Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law, allowing for significant reductions in management and disposal costs that were burdensome with conventional fluorocarbon refrigerants. Additionally, the ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero, and the global warming potential (GWP) is less than 1, significantly reduced compared to conventional R32 and R410A, making it environmentally friendly. (As of June 2022) In terms of energy efficiency, the inverter controls the rotation speeds of the compressor, fan, and pump for refrigeration, enabling operation with the minimum necessary power. This contributes to reductions in CO2 emissions and running costs by decreasing power consumption in response to changes in load rates. *There is also the RKE-C-VRB series that uses refrigerant R513A.
