Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) 'ACM-a'
Ideal for heat dissipation substrates! A super heat-dissipating material boasting 2.7 times the thermal diffusivity of aluminum and 2.17 times that of copper.
Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) 'ACM-a' is a composite material made of graphite (extruded material) and aluminum. It has a specific gravity as light as graphite, a thermal expansion rate comparable to ceramics, and primarily enhances thermal conductivity and thermal diffusion. This material significantly contributes to heat dissipation and exhaust, and due to its low thermal expansion rate, it improves the reliability of products that generate heat from both heat dissipation and low thermal expansion perspectives. 【Features】 ■ Thermal diffusion rate: More than twice that of copper and aluminum ■ Thermal expansion rate: About 1/2 that of copper and about 1/3 that of aluminum ■ Density: Less than 1/4 that of copper ■ Easy to plate (nickel, gold, copper, etc.) ■ Strong against heat cycles *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
