We conduct a wide range of tests based on our extensive testing experience and accumulated background data in standard test species such as mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, and of course, monkeys. The tests are conducted in a GLP-compliant facility that has obtained certification from AAALAC International (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International). A series of non-clinical test sets, including genotoxicity tests and safety pharmacology tests necessary to enter clinical trials (Phase I), can be completed with the final report prepared within six months. "LUVOSINT" 3D printing resin material for SLS.

"LUVOSINT" is a resin material for SLS or Powder Bed Fusion.

"LUVOSINT" is a resin material developed in Germany for SLS or Powder Bed Fusion. We offer powders of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and PP (polypropylene). TPU is a strong, wear-resistant, and uniquely elastic material that has proven effective for applications such as shoe midsoles. It is a specially designed material for 3D printing, taking into account factors such as minimal dimensional change during molding, durability, and elongation. PP is based on a hard and tough random copolymer of polypropylene. Due to its high impact strength, excellent chemical resistance, and low specific gravity (0.9), it is used in industrial applications where weight reduction is required, such as in the automotive sector. **Chopped Carbon Fiber** Chopped carbon fiber refers to products made by cutting carbon fibers into short lengths (3-6mm). Based on advanced cutting technology and expertise in sizing material selection, it is used by customers around the world. It is mainly added to improve the strength and elastic modulus of thermoplastic resin compounds or to enhance conductivity. We propose sizing materials that are compatible with the base resin, and by selecting the appropriate sizing, improvements in the mechanical properties of the compound after processing can be expected. **Milled Carbon Fiber** Milled carbon fiber refers to products that have been finely ground from carbon fibers. The average fiber length is about 100μm, making it very short. It is often used for improving sliding properties and enhancing conductivity. In recent years, it has also gained attention as a reinforcing filler for 3D printing. **Carbon Fiber Felt and Paper** Carbon fiber felt is a non-woven fabric that orients carbon fibers in three dimensions. Carbon fiber paper is a sheet that arranges carbon fibers in two dimensions. It is composed of carbon fibers and a small amount of binder resin. Thermal conductive compound resin | LUVOCOM

LUVOCOM thermal conductive compounds achieve high thermal conductivity of up to 28W/mK through a unique blend of additives.

LUVOCOM is a thermally conductive compound resin material developed and manufactured by the German company Lehmann & Voss. General plastics have low thermal conductivity, around 0.1 to 0.4 W/mK. In contrast, LUVOCOM thermally conductive compound resins achieve high thermal conductivity of up to 28 W/mK through a unique additive formulation. As base resins, we have a proven track record with various thermoplastic resins such as PEEK, PEI, LCP, PPS, PPA, PA66, PET, and PC, and we offer both conductive and insulating materials. Thermally conductive compound resins often require a large amount of inorganic fillers to achieve high thermal conductivity, which can negatively impact moldability and mechanical properties. At Lehmann & Voss, we pursue a balance between thermal conductivity, moldability, and mechanical properties based on our extensive experience.

CNT compound resin

CNT compound resin blended with PEEK (polyether ether ketone) and PC (polycarbonate) with CNT (carbon nanotubes).

CNT is a carbon material in the form of nanometer-sized cylinders (tubes) that excels in conductivity and thermal conductivity. By properly mixing CNT with thermoplastic resin, conductive and semiconductive resin materials can be created. CNT demonstrates high conductivity even in small amounts, so it is possible to achieve sufficient conductivity/semiconductivity with a small addition, without the need for large quantities like carbon black or carbon fibers, enabling effective ESD countermeasures. Due to the small size of the fillers, which are present in limited quantities, it is recognized as a clean material with low dust generation, making it valuable as a clean electrostatic discharge (ESD) countermeasure resin material in manufacturing processes for semiconductors, HDDs, and FPDs. Sliding PES compound resin | LUVOCOM 1100-8549

"LUVOCOM 1100-8549" is a sliding compound material developed for automotive oil pumps.

By adding a uniquely formulated additive to the base resin PES (polyether sulfone), we have developed a material that excels in wear resistance and dimensional accuracy. It is used as an alternative to aluminum parts, and improvements in reaction speed and performance in variable valve timing mechanisms have been confirmed. Furthermore, it is not only a metal substitute but also a candidate for switching from other super engineering plastics such as PEEK and PEI. 'LUVOCOM 1100-8549' is a material that offers an excellent balance of mechanical properties, outstanding friction and wear characteristics, and high dimensional stability. The anisotropy of the coefficient of linear expansion has also been improved, and die swell is minimized, which means that post-processing after molding can be kept to a minimum, leading to potential cost reduction benefits.

Biodegradable polypropylene non-woven fabric

We have achieved the incorporation of biodegradability into polypropylene (PP) non-woven fabric. It biodegrades in the natural environment while maintaining the properties of PP.

This product utilizes Biotransformation technology, allowing it to decompose in the natural environment without leaving microplastics behind. The biodegradation process will begin after the expected period, so it can be used as a regular PP non-woven fabric before the biodegradation starts. It is also possible to recycle it before the decomposition begins, and after decomposition, it is converted into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass, making it an environmentally considerate material design. The effectiveness of biodegradability has been confirmed by a third-party organization in accordance with UK BSI PAS 9017 and ASTM D5988/ISO 17556. Instead of switching to a different material such as biodegradable resin, you can continue to use conventional PP materials, which is a significant advantage as it minimizes changes to production equipment and processes. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
