The expandable adhesive application controller AS 60 consists of a base module that can control up to 8 application heads. It can connect up to 15 modules via a bus cable. This makes the AS 60 particularly suitable for adhesive application systems using a large number of application heads. Since they can be individually controlled, it allows for applications in various formats and for complex application patterns commonly seen in processes like paper bag manufacturing. Multiple application heads can be controlled through a single channel. The controller can be operated via a touch panel or a membrane keyboard. Optionally, the base module can be combined with a module for application inspection controllers, allowing for the verification of bead and dot application positions or their presence using sensors.
