The "Rack-Mount Optical Converter Supporting 100MHz to 6GHz" is an E/O and O/E converter that converts and transmits analog high-frequency signals into light.
By replacing RF coaxial cables with optical fibers, it is possible to easily construct a low-loss transmission path. Up to 8 E/O and O/E modules can be mounted in a 1U size EIA 19-inch rack, allowing for a space-saving multi-channel configuration.

In high-frequency insensitive areas such as buildings, underground shopping streets, and tunnels, as well as between satellite ground stations and antennas, low-cost and low-loss transmission can be achieved by converting IF signals from long-distance coaxial transmission to optical.
