From development to manufacturing of the store's original products 'Tea-rin'
Don't you ever think, 'I wish there was a product like this'? We created a transparent teapot from meetings, design, and prototypes to mass production.
One day, during a conversation with Mr. Yoshida from the Kura Kura tea house in Kawagoe, I overheard him say, "If you want to drink just one cup of delicious tea, you should use a tea bag." This inspired me to start developing a teapot that could make a single cup of delicious tea. This time, I considered selling through "crowdfunding," which I had been interested in for a while. From the initial design, I focused on a glossy finish, utilizing shaping and cutting techniques to create a cute form. After that, I incorporated aspects related to performance, such as the thickness of the product and a shape that ensures high safety. ◎ From the teapot expert I consulted, I learned that the quality of a teapot is determined by how well it drains! With this in mind, I created a teapot that is meticulously hand-bent for optimal drainage. Through crowdfunding, 911 people supported and purchased the teapot, and it received great acclaim. In the future, starting from October 2023, it is also scheduled to be sold on domestic e-commerce sites and Chinese e-commerce malls.
