We will introduce the causes and solutions for "the dew point not decreasing."

We will introduce a solution to the problem of the dew point not decreasing. A portable dew point meter was used to measure high-purity nitrogen. A regulator was installed on the cylinder, and a sampling tube was connected to the dew point meter to measure the dew point. After running for about 2 hours, the dew point only decreased to around -60°C, and measuring other cylinders did not change the situation. The cause was insufficient purging of the sample piping system. It is necessary to either increase the flow rate or extend the purging time. Additionally, there was an influence from the surrounding components on the primary side of the dew point meter. Please use piping made of materials that do not allow moisture to permeate, or are difficult to permeate, such as metal piping or PTFE. It can lower the mirror temperature to nearly -100°C, enabling the measurement of low dew points. It was a process of trial and error, but we were able to successfully introduce a humidifier that meets the requirements. A case study of implementation that addresses challenging specifications.

This case introduces the establishment of a humidity control environment requiring a line back pressure of 8 bar and a dew point temperature of 150°C dp. Traditionally, humidity controllers requiring a line back pressure of 8 bar and a dew point temperature of 150°C dp were specifications that other companies had no experience with and would decline due to their difficulty. In this case, we successfully developed and manufactured a device that meets the demanding specifications. By equipping a mirror surface cooling dew point meter and conducting a full inspection of all products during shipping inspection, we have achieved excellent accuracy and stability guarantees.
