If the amount of water vapor in the air is low, the dew point is low; if there is a lot of water vapor, the dew point is high. In other words, the dew point quantifies the amount of water vapor in the air and represents something similar to humidity. ○ What is saturated water vapor? The factory supplies dry air to various locations for different applications. Dry air requires a certain level of dryness, and many examples establish standards based on the moisture content, using dew point meters as a factor to determine whether the conditions meet the standards. In addition to installing sensors on the air dryer, the supply source, to continuously monitor the dew point temperature, there is also a method of extracting air from arbitrary points in the piping that supplies the factory to conduct spot measurements. Furthermore, in dry rooms where dry air is filled indoors, sensors are installed within the room to continuously monitor the dew point temperature of the indoor atmosphere. Solving the problems of dew point meters: The dew point does not decrease.

We will introduce the causes and solutions for "the dew point not decreasing."

We will introduce a solution to the problem of the dew point not decreasing. A portable dew point meter was used to measure high-purity nitrogen. A regulator was installed on the cylinder, and a sampling tube was connected to the dew point meter to measure the dew point. After running for about 2 hours, the dew point only decreased to around -60°C, and measuring other cylinders did not change the situation. The cause was insufficient purging of the sample piping system. It is necessary to either increase the flow rate or extend the purging time. Additionally, there was an influence from the surrounding components on the primary side of the dew point meter. Please use piping made of materials that do not allow moisture to permeate, or are difficult to permeate, such as metal piping or PTFE. [Issues/Phenomena] - When the chamber was left open, the dew point rose to around -40°C, gradually moving towards negative but not responding quickly. - After running for about 2 hours, the dew point only decreased to around -60°C. - The cylinder was empty, and measuring another cylinder immediately did not change the situation. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

It achieves a wide measurement range of -70 to +20°C DP and quick response time thanks to the ceramic dew point sensor and microcontroller. The sensor requires minimal installation space and complies with IP65. It is mounted on a dedicated sensor block, with gas supplied from piping (fitting PT1/8). The standard sensor cable is 2m, with an option for extension up to 100m. It includes a single-point alarm for upper or lower limits (two points available as an option) and comes standard with a DC 4-20mA output. Digital Temperature and Humidity Dew Point Meter HD-3008

This is a digital hygrometer that can measure temperature, humidity, and dew point (condensation) temperature.

You can connect a K-type thermocouple sensor with a miniature connector to the main unit, allowing for a wide range of temperature measurements from -100 to 1300°C. It also features a hold function for measurement values and maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) memory functions. The HD-3008 has a digital output and can communicate data with a computer in real-time using dedicated analysis software (optional).
