Drone inspection of solar power plants in Hyogo Prefecture.

Infrared imaging was conducted using a drone equipped with both visible light and infrared cameras! An investigation of abnormal areas was carried out at a solar power plant.

We conducted a drone inspection at the solar power plant of Port Construction Co., Ltd. in Hyogo Prefecture. By using a drone, we can easily inspect a wide range of power generation equipment, including modules installed on steep slopes and at high locations. As a result of infrared imaging of all panels in the power plant from above, we observed numerous instances of cell overheating likely caused by dirt, several areas suspected of string anomalies, and nine locations with cluster anomalies, indicating a significant number of abnormalities. After confirmation, we will investigate the causes and carry out corrective work to restore a healthy condition. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

We can also conduct crack inspections on building exteriors! Drone inspections.

From buildings and apartments to silos! Both delivery time and costs can be kept down!

At Miyaso Chemical, we conduct inspections of building exteriors using drones. Traditional inspections using scaffolding for visual checks and tapping rods resulted in longer inspection periods and higher costs. By using drones for inspections, there is no need to set up scaffolding, which allows for significant reductions in both delivery times and costs! Additionally, inspections are possible not only for building exteriors but also for silos used for ready-mixed concrete and documentation. If you have concerns such as "I want to conduct inspections for safety and accident prevention, but I want to keep costs as low as possible," please feel free to consult with us!

What is drone inspection that can be conducted in a short period?

Would you like to switch from traditional probing rod surveys to drone inspections?

Drone inspections were legally recognized with the revision of Article 12 of the Building Standards Act on April 1, 2022. In traditional exterior wall inspections, workers often used tapping rods due to accuracy issues, which required a long time to conduct extensive inspections. Additionally, scaffolding was necessary for workers to perform the inspections, further increasing the time needed to prepare equipment. (Features of Drone Inspections) - No need to set up scaffolding - Capable of extensive inspections from the air - Significantly reduces inspection time For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

No scaffolding needed! What is drone inspection?

Why not switch from traditional probing rod surveys to drone inspections?

Drone inspections have been legally recognized as having the same level of accuracy as traditional sounding rod inspections due to the amendment of Article 12 of the Building Standards Act effective April 1, 2022. In conventional inspections, workers would set up scaffolding and use sounding rods to examine each section of the exterior walls one by one. However, with drone inspections, workers operate drones equipped with infrared cameras from the ground, conducting inspections through aerial photography, eliminating the need for scaffolding and other equipment. *If you would like to know more details or specific examples, please feel free to contact us.*

Drone Inspection Q&A No. 8

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: Are there situations where drone inspections are difficult? A: They are easily affected by weather, so inspections are difficult in strong winds. Additionally, if the gaps between buildings are narrow, it may not be possible to fly the drone, in which case we may combine it with traditional methods for inspection. We are always open to any questions, no matter how small, so please feel free to contact us.

Drone Inspection Q&A No. 7

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: Is there a difference from the conventional method? A: Of course, there is no need to set up scaffolding, the investigation period can be shortened, and costs can be reduced. Additionally, infrared image analysis is possible. This analysis can detect signs of tile lifting due to temperature changes that cannot be confirmed visually, as well as abnormal heating of solar panels. We are always open to any questions, no matter how small, so we look forward to your inquiries.

Legally recognized drone inspections!

Why not switch from traditional exterior wall inspections to drone inspections?

Drone inspections have been legally recognized as having the same level of accuracy as sounding rod surveys due to the amendment of Article 12 of the Building Standards Act on April 1, 2022. In traditional inspection methods, workers conducted inspections using sounding rods or took images of the exterior walls from the ground using infrared cameras, followed by image analysis. However, these methods resulted in long inspection periods and made it impossible to inspect high-rise areas. With drone inspections, it is possible to inspect high-rise areas using drones equipped with infrared cameras. Additionally, by converting inspection points into thermographic images and identifying anomalies through temperature differences, defects in high or narrow areas that were previously unobservable by human effort can now be detected. *For more detailed information or specific case studies, please feel free to contact us.*

Drone Inspection Q&A Part 3

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: Is there anything else that can be done besides the exterior wall inspection? A: In addition to inspecting the building's exterior walls, we can also handle surveying and cases where there are no blueprints for older buildings. Drone surveying involves using drones to measure the area and shape of land from above, converting that data into blueprints, or calculating the area of specific sections. In traditional methods, workers had to carry surveying equipment and walk around to measure all necessary points, resulting in long work periods and high time and cost expenditures. However, drone surveying significantly reduces both time and costs, and can accommodate large areas of land or difficult-to-access terrains. We are always open to even the smallest questions, so we look forward to your inquiries.

Drone Inspection Q&A Part 4

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: Is it possible to inspect things other than buildings? A: Drone inspections can be conducted not only for building exteriors but also for solar panels. Drone inspections of solar panels involve using aerial photography from drones. Traditional inspection methods required a large number of personnel, extended inspection periods, and high costs, as inspections were performed manually from the ground. However, with drone inspections, costs can be reduced, and by using drones equipped with infrared cameras, inspections can be conducted thoroughly and quickly without overlooking any details. Through infrared image analysis and visible light image analysis, it is possible to identify temperature anomalies in hot spots that cannot be detected visually, confirm damaged areas (such as cracks and deformations), and check for significant dirt accumulation. We are always open to even the smallest questions, so please feel free to contact us.

Drone Inspection Q&A Part 5

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: How long will the construction period take? A: It depends on the scale of the survey target. First, please submit the elevation drawing of the requested property. As a guideline, for properties that would typically take one month using conventional methods, a drone inspection can be completed in a few days. We are always open to any questions, no matter how small, so we look forward to your inquiries.

Drone Inspection Q&A No. 6

We will answer the questions received from our customers!

Q: Are there any conditions on the survey date? A: Drones are susceptible to strong winds, so they are affected by the weather. However, considering the length of the survey period using traditional methods, it ultimately results in a shorter duration, providing time and cost benefits. We are always open to any questions, no matter how small, so please feel free to contact us.
