In 3D measurement using UAV lasers, it is possible to acquire large volumes of 3D point cloud data of the terrain and other measurement targets in a short time. Additionally, by adopting Time of Flight (TOF) lasers, it is now possible to measure the ground surface under vegetation, which was not feasible with photogrammetry. This can be utilized as a powerful tool in tasks such as creating digital terrain models in mountainous areas.
