NK Smoother 25

Commercialized as a silicone emulsion for use with silicone coatings.

"NK Smoother 25" employs a heat set method in offset printing machines, and to avoid issues caused by static electricity generated from the drying and friction of paper, a silicone coater is installed near the dryer outlet. Generally, silicone is used to provide an appropriate level of moisture to the paper while simultaneously increasing slip properties to suppress the generation of static electricity. While silicone enhances slip due to its smoothness, it does not have the antistatic effect of fabric softeners. In response to the demand for improved slip properties, Nikkankagaku has developed "NK Smoother 25" as a silicone emulsion for use in silicone coaters. 【Features】 ■ Silicone emulsion used in silicone applicators for offset printing machines ■ Excellent dispersion, lubrication, and slip properties on paper surfaces, preventing back splitting during paper folding and improving paper alignment ■ Provides excellent gloss to the printed surface, resulting in a superior finish ■ Extremely good dispersion in water, particularly excelling in dilution stability, mechanical stability, and storage stability ■ Non-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-flammable, making it safe to use *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Szechuan Pepper Emulsion "Kaneshore"

The Hidden Strength of Kishu Specialty Products - Delicious Reduced Salt with the Power of Sansho

The spicy components of sansho are relatively stable when maintained in the dried fruits or peels of sansho. However, when using sansho in food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals, the fruits or peels are often powdered or extracted, causing the spicy components to rapidly decompose and decrease. Our company is focused on exploring stabilizing substances for sanshool and aims to develop physical stabilization techniques for sanshool. We have successfully developed functional materials that stabilize the spicy components of sansho and reduce salt content. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. 【Technical Information】 - Clarification of stabilizing substances for sanshool and pH conditions - Clarification of stabilization methods for sanshool - Emulsions that utilize the aroma of sansho and emulsions with less aroma *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Stable emulsion without surfactants made using LAPONITE.

It becomes possible to work at room temperature and produce emulsions more quickly and at a lower cost!

LAPONITE, which is usually used for controlling the rheological properties of aqueous formulations, can also act as an excellent emulsifier when used in a novel method called "powder particle method" developed by BYK. It stabilizes against creaming and coalescence due to the particles, and the resulting emulsions that do not contain surfactants are referred to as Pickering emulsions. In addition to providing stability to emulsions, LAPONITE simultaneously imparts gel structure and low viscosity due to shear, offering formulation designers a valuable dual benefit. *For detailed information, please refer to the PDF document.
