Factis (Sub)

Factis (sub) is a rubber processing aid made from refined rapeseed oil. It has effects of softening the rubber compound, improving processability, and reducing costs.

Fachtis (Sub) manufactured by India’s Arihant Company. It is a rubber processing aid made from refined rapeseed oil. It has effects such as softening of rubber compounds, improving processability in extrusion or calendering operations, and reducing costs for synthetic rubber. There are four grades available, including white sub. We also have free samples available, so please feel free to request them.

The aging resistance of the product "Golden Factis" is excellent.

Light-colored sulfur fachtis made from rapeseed oil!

We handle a light-colored sulfur factor, "Golden Factis," made from canola oil with reduced unsaturation through hydrogenation. Golden is a high-grade product that is slightly lighter than Golden T. While sulfur chloride factors are also used in light-colored formulations, this product does not contain chlorine and poses no risk of delayed vulcanization. 【Features】 ■ When used in IIR, processability is improved at 5-10 phr, and there are almost no negative effects on vulcanization speed, physical properties, or aging. ■ It can also be used for adjusting the fluidity of oil-based paints, the adhesive strength of adhesives, and maintaining viscosity at high temperatures in lubricants and cutting oils. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Used in large quantities, it enables the reduction of hardness in NBR and CR products! Neofactis.

It can improve the texture and feel of vulcanized rubber, and due to its ozone resistance and electrical insulation properties, the lifespan of vulcanized rubber is extended!

"Neo-Factis" is a product developed for special purposes. "Neo N" uses soybean oil as its main raw material and is a soft factis with low free sulfur, exhibiting some stickiness. "Neo Q" and "Neo R" are made from castor oil, which has high compatibility with NBR, and are characterized by their resistance to petroleum-based solvents compared to other sulfur factis. 【Features】 ■ Developed for special purposes ■ Allows for the reduction of hardness in NBR and CR products when used in large quantities (Neo N) ■ Used for high-temperature vulcanization of light-colored CR compounds (Neo Q) ■ Adjusted to be suitable for extruded products and molded items of NBR and CR (Neo R) ■ Applicable rubbers: NR, NBR, CR, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Prominent in permanent compression strain! Sulfur chloride factice "White Sub"

For automotive parts, adhesive tapes, and other industrial products! Sulfur chloride factis with excellent oil absorption properties. A processing aid that improves the workability of rubber!

"White Sub" is generally known for its excellent oil absorption properties and is a chlorinated sulfur factor that helps prevent bleeding in liquid formulations. Compared to Black Sub, it has less impact on rubber properties, particularly notable in permanent compression strain. At rubber vulcanization temperatures, the release of chlorine occurs, which can cause vulcanization delays; however, conversely, an appropriate amount of addition can act as a retarder. 【Features】 ■ White Sub 1 contains approximately 10% calcium bicarbonate as a stabilizer, while White Sub 2 contains about 20%. ■ White Sub S has a small amount of magnesium oxide added as a stabilizer. ■ Generally exhibits excellent oil absorption properties and helps prevent bleeding in liquid formulations. ■ Has minimal impact on rubber properties, particularly notable in permanent compression strain. ■ Applicable rubbers: NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, etc., TPE. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Slightly softer compared to the white sub! Sulfur chloride factice "Ame Sub."

Add a small amount of magnesium oxide as a stabilizer! A slightly softer factis compared to white sub. Prevents stickiness and shrinkage of rubber compounds!

"Ame Sub" is a slightly softer factice compared to White Sub, and it is packaged in lump form because it is difficult to crush. Both contain a small amount of magnesium oxide as a stabilizer, and "Ame Sub L" and "Ame Sub 50" have naphthenic mineral oil added. Additionally, like White Sub, it has a delayed vulcanization effect, and the method for preventing delays is the same. 【Features】 ■ Slightly softer factice compared to White Sub ■ Packaged in lump form due to difficulty in crushing ■ A small amount of magnesium oxide is added as a stabilizer ■ Naphthenic mineral oil is added to Ame Sub L and Ame Sub 50 ■ Applicable rubbers: NR, SBR, NBR, EPDM, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is Sub (Factis)? A summary of features not found in other rubber processing aids!

Sub is a processing aid that improves the processability of rubber. It has the effect of preventing stickiness and shrinkage in rubber compounds.

It is recognized as a formal rubber term and is included in JIS and rubber dictionaries. The term "sub" is also referred to as "Factice," which is derived from French and means "synthetic" or "artificial," and is now used as a global common term. Therefore, we use this term in our company's English name. Additionally, there are terms such as "vulcanized vegetable oils" or simply "vulcanized oils," which are translations of the term primarily used in the United States and represent the raw materials and manufacturing methods of sub. 【Three Major Features of Sub (Factice) Not Found in Other Processing Aids】 ■ Non-thermoplastic It does not melt at around 200°C, thus maintaining the shape and dimensions of the compound and preventing shrinkage. ■ Pressure flowability During the pressurization of the compound, the lubricating effect of factice improves flowability, making extrusion easier and increasing molding speed. ■ Oil absorption Due to its three-dimensional mesh structure, it absorbs liquid formulations (oils, plasticizers, etc.), preventing stickiness and bleeding of the compound. *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.
