Heat Sink "Offset SS Type"

Heat dissipation performance is improved compared to conventional comb-shaped heat sinks! Suitable for devices that require space-saving.

The "Offset SS Type" is a heat sink that improves heat dissipation by approximately 30%. By offsetting the fin pitch every other row, it significantly enhances performance compared to conventional extruded materials (comb-shaped) heat sinks. With a fin height of (maximum) 1/2, it can achieve performance equivalent to our conventional extruded material heat sinks, allowing for miniaturization and weight reduction of the equipment. The surface treatment can accommodate anodized specifications (colored), and it is capable of precision cutting, precision machining, and drilling processes. 【Features】 ■ Dividing and offsetting the fins disrupts the temperature boundary layer ■ Increases opportunities for air to collide with the fins, improving heat dissipation performance ■ Suitable for equipment that requires forced air cooling and space-saving designs ■ Surface treatment can accommodate anodized specifications (colored) ■ Capable of precision cutting, precision machining, and drilling processes *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

High-performance heat sink (without machining)

This is a heat sink made of AlSi10Mg.

A customer approached us with the request, "Can we utilize the high degree of design freedom of metal 3D printers to improve the heat dissipation of heat sinks?" In response, we began discussions with the customer from the design stage and achieved high functionality by integrating heat dissipation fins and cooling pipes. Due to the complex structure, the difficulty of fabrication is very high, and normally, successful fabrication would require effective use of supports. However, we were able to realize this through our know-how and technical capabilities. Togane Metal Industry Co., Ltd. actively proposes the transition from existing manufacturing methods to metal 3D printing, providing various benefits to customers, including the realization of complex shapes and high functionality, as well as reduced lead times, weight reduction, and process consolidation, as seen in this case. We have numerous achievements not only with AlSi10Mg, SUS316L, and maraging steel but also with special materials such as Invar and iron-based and copper-based alloys. If you are struggling with shape constraints of existing manufacturing methods or considering a transition to metal 3D printing, please feel free to consult with us.

- Machining example of a cut-out heat sink: Metal processing of deep fin grooves -

We are Nitto Kousakusho Co., Ltd., engaged in precision machining in Osaka Prefecture.

008【Our Technical Expertise】2024/08/15 ~Machining Case of Machined Heat Sinks: Deep Fin Grooves~ This time, we will introduce a successful machining case for small to medium lots of 30 to 50 pieces. The product name is heat sink, and the processing was carried out based on the following specifications. We received a request to manufacture a monolithic heat sink with fins machined out. In this processing, there was a challenge that the fins were prone to breakage during machining due to the deep fin grooves. However, leveraging our long-standing expertise in jig manufacturing and machining know-how, we were able to successfully complete and deliver the product. In particular, we quickly responded to the relatively small lot of 30 pieces and met the customer's requirements effectively. Our company provides reliable products with high technical skills even in small to medium lot metal processing and machining. ◎ If you have any inquiries regarding metal processing or machining, please feel free to contact us. We also welcome simple machining requests, so do not hesitate to consult with us. #MetalProcessing #Machining #SmallLotProduction #MediumLotProduction #PrecisionMachining #RotaryEngine

[Data] Free Download of Excel for Manufacturing Sites (COUNTIF Edition)

"I want to be able to use the COUNTIF function." "I want to know how it is actually used in the factory." If you are such a person, please read on!

Excel has various functions, and as you study functions like SUM and IF, you may become captivated by their convenience and want to learn even more functions. On the other hand, there may be those working in the manufacturing industry who feel the concern of not knowing "specifically which functions are used and how they are applied." In this document, I would like to explore how one of the Excel functions, COUNTIF, can be used in the manufacturing industry, using examples.

[Data] Think in Numbers! Decision-Making in Manufacturing (Defect Rate Improvement Edition) Free Download

"People often say 'think in numbers,' but what does that actually mean in practice?" I will explain using specific examples related to improving defect rates!

In the manufacturing industry, improving the workplace is very important. However, it is not realistic to tackle every improvement idea that comes to mind amidst the busy daily routine. So, how should we prioritize these improvements? A common approach is to consider factors such as "cost-effectiveness," "ease of implementation," and "the magnitude of the effects when implemented." While we might say, "Let's think in terms of cost-effectiveness!" the first stumbling block is often, "How do we concretely think about this in numerical terms?" In this document, I would like to examine an example of decision-making based on numbers, using the question, "Should we focus on equipment updates or personnel training to improve defect rates?" as a basis.

[Data] Management Accounting for Business Decisions ~ Case 4: Introduction of New Equipment ~

I will explain the points to keep in mind in order to effectively use accounting figures for management decisions!

It is often said that 'business should be considered in terms of numbers.' When it comes to management decisions, the first numbers that come to mind are the financial figures used in accounting (such as sales, manufacturing costs, and gross profit). It would be great if we could make correct decisions using these numbers, but if we misuse them, we can end up making unexpected mistakes. In this document, I would like to introduce and explain the 'traps of easily misunderstood numbers.'

"Stainless Steel Sink for Dog Bath" June Best Product

Due to the relocation of the pet salon, a new dog bath for small dogs has been created!

We would like to introduce the best product of June made by Excel Corporation. The best product of June is the "Stainless Steel Sink for Dog Baths." Incorporating customer preferences, we decided on a corner-type reverse Fuji design for the sink, adding a lead hook fixture at the bottom and considering efficiency during water filling (water-saving and time-saving). Additionally, with the reverse Fuji type, the production involves welding the side surfaces as shown in the diagram, making it technically challenging to align the corner parts accurately. However, we carefully finished and processed it beautifully while making fine adjustments. We also have photos of other product examples on our company website, so please take a look if you are interested. [Features] ■ A unique product that incorporates customer preferences in a custom-made sink ■ Carefully finished and beautifully processed with fine adjustments *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
