The DRV8320R is equipped with three half-bridge gate drivers, each capable of driving high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs. It generates the appropriate gate drive voltage using an integrated charge pump for the high-side MOSFET and a linear regulator for the low-side MOSFET. The smart gate drive architecture supports a peak gate drive current capability of up to 1A source and 2A sink.
