The true color of the object cannot be seen under fluorescent lights! This lighting equipment reproduces "light very close to daylight," effectively confirming the correct color tones.

The "true color" of an object cannot be seen under fluorescent lights alone. This is because the object's <spectral reflectance> and the light's <spectral distribution> affect it. The 'Never-Going-Out Machida-kun' is a safe and reliable lighting solution that remains brightly lit even during disasters and power outages. In collaboration with the Machida City municipality, we developed this streetlight to ensure that residents can live in a disaster-resistant city and safely evacuate during major disasters, providing peace of mind even when the power goes out. (Matches national resilience, longevity of park facilities, and contributions to a decarbonized society!) The 'Never-Going-Out Machida-kun' can be installed within existing lighting poles and can be co-mounted on utility poles, eliminating the need for new installations or replacements of lighting poles. This allows for reduced construction time and costs. Additionally, by converting existing fixtures to LED, we can reduce electricity consumption, electricity costs, and CO2 emissions. It is equipped with a dimming function, allowing for a lighting duration of up to 24 hours (with nighttime lighting lasting up to about 3 days) depending on brightness. This product was jointly developed with Tokyo Machida City and won the 7th Collaborative City Development Grand Prix at the Municipal Comprehensive Fair 2015.
