In collaboration with the Machida City municipality, we developed this streetlight to ensure that residents can live in a disaster-resistant city and safely evacuate during major disasters, providing peace of mind even when the power goes out. (Matches national resilience, longevity of park facilities, and contributions to a decarbonized society!) The 'Never-Going-Out Machida-kun' can be installed within existing lighting poles and can be co-mounted on utility poles, eliminating the need for new installations or replacements of lighting poles. This allows for reduced construction time and costs. Additionally, by converting existing fixtures to LED, we can reduce electricity consumption, electricity costs, and CO2 emissions.
