Rust-inhibiting lubricant "Fluid Film"
Ideal for rust prevention during marine transport of machinery and parts, as well as for long-term storage. It forms a coating that does not easily wash off in rain or wind, enabling medium to long-term rust protection.
Fluid film is a product that was developed through a collaboration between the U.S. Navy and manufacturers during World War II. It is still used by the U.S. Navy today. In addition to its lubricating effect, it excels in long-term rust prevention, achieving a rust resistance result of 1248 hours in salt spray tests. It contains very little solvent or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) (except for aerosol types), making it an environmentally friendly product. It is also resistant to being washed away by rainwater, providing long-lasting rust protection. Since it does not contain solvents, it does not adversely affect all metals and most paints, plastics, or rubber (though it may cause the surface of natural rubber to become raised).
