Dry film lubrication treatment for improving the sliding properties of oil-free compressors.

Enabling lubrication that is impossible with oil! By performing dry film lubrication treatment, we were able to increase the discharge pressure of the oil-free compressor.

Dry film lubrication treatment (dry coating) is a lubrication process that uses solid lubricants such as molybdenum disulfide and fluoropolymer. It forms a solid lubrication film on friction surfaces, effectively reducing friction resistance, improving wear resistance (protecting components and maintaining mechanisms), and preventing abnormal noise. ■ Adoption Results Rotor section of screw compressors ■ Challenges Conventional hydraulic systems enhance the sliding properties of rotors through oil supply, but in oil-free formats, there was a challenge of low sliding properties due to friction, resulting in awkward operation. ■ Solution By applying dry film lubrication treatment to the rotor section, permanent lubrication was achieved in the relevant areas, leading to improved discharge pressure. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Screw Reinforcement Manual (Vol. 30) What is lubrication treatment?

Introducing lubrication treatments that can prevent screw seizing in a blog format!

Since thread seizing occurs at contact surfaces such as the threaded part and the head seat surface, enhancing the surface properties of bolts and similar components through some form of surface treatment is effective as a countermeasure against thread seizing. When we think of surface treatment, we often imagine processes like plating or painting for screws, but in this context, surface treatment is not limited to those methods. It also includes processes that utilize heat or involve physical modifications to the surface, referring to a broader definition of surface treatment in its original sense. Now, let me introduce some effective surface treatments. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for further inquiries.*
