Market Research Report: Head-Up Display (HUD) Market

"Free samples" are currently being offered! Please check the application method from the [PDF download] button or apply directly through the related links.

According to the latest report by Grand View Research, Inc., the global market size for Head-Up Displays (HUD) is expected to record a CAGR of 15.7% from 2023 to 2030, reaching 15.26 billion USD by 2030. Head-Up Displays (HUD) are computerized systems that project information onto a screen close to the viewer or onto another display. HUD systems project data, images, and supporting information to drivers or viewers, allowing them to see both the external environment and the information simultaneously. Initially, HUD displays were prominently deployed in the aviation industry, particularly for military aircraft. Subsequently, HUD displays have been incorporated into commercial aircraft through secondary screens. Recently, HUD systems have been applied in dynamic fields such as automotive windshields and motorcycle helmets where data is displayed on visors.

Technical Data Presentation: CAM Joining Enabled by Low Thermal Resistance for Dissimilar Material Bonding

Joining of dissimilar materials such as metal, resin, and ceramics is possible! Improving heat dissipation properties is becoming increasingly important. The bonding strength is secured at over 10 MPa in shear tensile tests.

Our company conducts test processing, specialized CAM agents, and process development using CAM bonding technology. This bonding technology combines chemical bonding and fusion. It is environmentally friendly, allows for easy construction, and can reduce costs. CAM agents are applied and dried on metal surfaces to form an organic film, which is then bonded to the workpieces through thermal pressing. You can read the technical documentation that describes detailed features and functions. 【Examples of bondable materials】 ■ Metals: Aluminum, Copper, Steel, Titanium ■ Resins: Nylon, PBT, CFRP ■ Ceramics: Alumina, Glass ■ Zero thermal resistance is also possible.

[Resin Processing Case] Mass Production of Products

Transitioning from prototype molds to mass production molds! Procurement of mass-produced parts with controlled quality and costs.

We would like to introduce a case study on resin processing for mass-produced products. There were concerns about whether the molds would hold up due to the production quantity increasing more than expected. Even with prototype molds, nitriding can be applied, allowing for direct mass production, capable of producing tens of thousands of shots. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Concerns about whether the molds would hold up due to the production quantity increasing more than expected. ■Results - Even with prototype molds, nitriding can be applied, allowing for direct mass production. - Capable of producing tens of thousands of shots. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Solving screw extraction molds with AC servo motor rotational drive technology #mold

We will introduce an example of using an AC servo motor to drive the core mold that forms the internal screw section of the movable side and the fixed side mold. #MoldingMold

The unscrewing machine consists of a fixed side mold that forms the outer shape of the cap, a core mold that forms the movable inner screw part, and an AC servo motor that drives the rotation of this core. The rotation drive of the unscrewing mold is powered by the AC servo motor. "To create a cap through resin molding, a core mold with engraved screws is used. However, since the cap's screw has internal threads with ridges, the core mold cannot be directly pulled out after resin filling. It is necessary to open the mold while rotating the core mold. A mold that requires such rotational operation during opening is called an unscrewing mold." Note: It is possible with mechanical molds, forming molds, plastic molds, mold molds, and die-cast molds, but it seems that press molds and casting molds are currently not supported.

Problems and Improvement Methods in the Molding Site: Methods for Improving Dimensional Accuracy

The shrinkage rate of crystalline resin is 1% to 2%. How does the mold dimension affect the product?

I will explain how the dimensions of the mold affect the product. The shrinkage rate of crystalline resins is about 1% to 2%, while for amorphous resins, it is about 0.2% to 0.5%. Just by looking at this, you can understand that amorphous resins have an advantage in terms of dimensional stability. A lower shrinkage relative to the mold dimensions means that the product can be produced in a shape closer to that of the mold. In contrast, crystalline resins have a larger shrinkage rate, making them more prone to variations in product dimensions. Currently, even for products made from the same material, the shrinkage rates specified by different molding companies to mold manufacturers vary. One point to be cautious about is that the shrinkage rate calculation method provided by material manufacturers is based on very general molding assumptions. In cases of thick walls or complex shapes, these assumptions may not hold, so each molding manufacturer accumulates their own know-how or makes adjustments to mold dimensions and molding conditions, and we respond accordingly. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

What are the three key points of machining technology that brings errors as close to zero as possible?

Handle high-hardness materials while considering temperature and humidity, and respond according to the day's conditions!

Molds are applied to automotive parts, so precision is important. For example, when processing high-hardness materials, the cutting tools wear down, so if that is not taken into account, errors will occur. The processing machines themselves expand and contract due to temperature and humidity influences, so it is necessary to read the conditions of the day and respond accordingly. 【Yasaka's Processing Technology】 ■ Precision is important for molds used in automotive parts! ■ Processing high-hardness materials also requires calculating tool wear! ■ Read and respond to the condition of processing machines! *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog to view.

Solving problems at the production planning stage

Introduction to the challenges faced during the production planning stage in rubber molding and processing, and their solutions.

I'm worried that the schedule is tight and the delivery time for the mold may not be met. Do you have any concerns like wanting to reduce costs as much as possible? Our company handles many products from various mold manufacturers. We have a track record of completing mold production, which usually takes 1 to 1.5 months, in just one week for simpler shapes, so please consult with us as soon as possible. Additionally, since our company does not incur intermediate margins, we can expect a cost reduction of over 10% compared to general manufacturers. We have six large rubber molding machines (vacuum 300-ton molding machines) and can accommodate large lots. [Solutions to these concerns] ■ Worried that the schedule is tight and the delivery time for the mold may not be met ■ Want to reduce costs as much as possible ■ Looking for a factory that can handle orders because the current supplier or business partner is at capacity *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
