Fluororesin PFA, PVDF, ETFE | Basics of Injection Molding
We accommodate complex shapes and mass production, achieving stable quality fluororesin molded products through mold design, molding technology, and analytical capabilities.
What is injection molding of fluororesin? Injection molding of fluororesin (such as PFA, PVDF, ETFE) is a molding method where melted resin is injected into a mold, cooled, and solidified to create the product shape. It is characterized by excellent reproducibility of complex shapes compared to machining, minimal dimensional variation, and high mass production capability. It can accommodate everything from small parts to large molded products and is used in a wide range of applications, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts and piping components. Insert molding Insert molding is a molding method where metal parts are set in the mold in advance, and then fluororesin is injection molded over them, integrating the resin and metal. By integrating screw sections and metal cores, it enhances the strength and durability of the product while imparting chemical resistance and low friction properties to the surface of the fluororesin. Resin flow analysis In resin flow analysis, the flow and filling state of the resin inside the mold are simulated in 3D, allowing for the prediction of flow patterns, resin pressure distribution, temperature distribution, and weld line occurrence locations in advance. By identifying issues before mold production, it is possible to prevent molding defects and rework, enabling the creation of stable molded products in a short period and at low cost.
