Issue At a certain manufacturer's factory, due to installation errors and deterioration after the replacement of filter cloths in dust collectors, over 9 tons of raw materials were leaking from all the dust collectors every month without being recovered. This resulted in a loss of approximately 27 million yen per month for the company, and there is also the issue of air pollution. Just thinking about how much sales would be needed to generate such profits is a waste, isn't it? Therefore, the installation of dust monitors to continuously monitor the leakage amount was required.

In each stage of secondary battery manufacturing, dust collectors are installed to handle powders and recover materials that leak during work. If the dust collector is functioning properly, it can reliably collect materials without significant issues. However, if the filter deteriorates or wears out, a large amount of material can leak through the tears. This results in the inability to recover expensive materials, leading to significant losses. So, what measures can be taken? A dust monitor is installed on the secondary side of the dust collector (the atmospheric discharge side) to quickly detect raw materials leaking from deteriorated or worn filters, minimizing damage.
