Visualizing corrosion environment levels. Corrosion gas test specimens. Compliant with ISA standards.

We will conduct a risk analysis of on-site electronic equipment through environmental testing in accordance with ISA71.04-1985, and visualize the corrosion risk on-site.

By conducting an environmental analysis, we will quantitatively assess the risk to equipment from corrosive gases. We will install copper and silver test specimens on-site and conduct a one-month exposure test, analyzing the thickness of the corrosion rust layer to evaluate the risk at the site. We will submit a report in accordance with ISA standards. We always have test specimens in stock, so we can start the environmental survey immediately.

Visualizing the level of gas contamination in the data center in accordance with standards.

Environmental measurement methods compliant with ISA S71.04-2013, as required by IBM and AWS.

Floating microscopic particles (including metal flakes and metal particles) and reactive gases can adversely affect servers, either alone or in combination with environmental factors such as humidity and temperature. The risks posed by excessively small particles or high concentrations of harmful gases may lead to server malfunctions or, in the worst case, complete system failures. IBM and AWS may have specified design environment specifications to manage data centers at level G1 of ASI/ISA71.04-1985. By measuring with corrosion gas test specimens, which are an environmental analysis method compliant with ISA S71.04-2013, it is possible to visualize the environment of the data center.

I tried tensile testing with a carbon 3D printed model!

I tested the performance of a carbon 3D printed model with a tensile test!

"Mitarepo" is a series based on the concept of "I tried doing this!" where we introduce what can be done using various products. From the wide range of product categories handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. The theme of Vol. 28 is "We tried tensile testing with carbon 3D printed models!" This time, we conducted tensile tests using models created with the carbon 3D printer "Anisoprint Composer" to investigate the actual strength of models containing carbon material. We created two types of test specimens: 1) Carbon fibers arranged perpendicular to the tensile direction 2) Carbon fibers arranged parallel to the tensile direction We are examining how much strength these two models possess and the difference that fiber orientation makes. "Are carbon printed models really strong?" "What should I be careful about when using carbon fiber?" We will explain the actual strength and important points of interest, along with verification photos and comments from our technical staff. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I tried a tensile test with a carbon 3D printed model!

I tested the performance of carbon fiber's "anisotropy" with a 3D printed model!

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. The theme of Vol.30 is "We tried tensile testing with a carbon fiber 3D printed model! Part 2." In the tensile test introduced in Vol.28, we evaluated a solid model with 100% infill, but this time we examined how it performs with a lattice infill structure, which is one of the advantages of 3D printing. One of the features of the carbon 3D printer "Composer" is that carbon fibers can be applied to lattice infill. This time, we compiled the results of tensile tests using test specimens printed with that lattice infill. "How strong can a lattice arrangement be?" "Are there any characteristics to the shape of the infill?" We will explain the actual strength and important points of interest, along with verification photos and comments from our technical staff. *You can download the materials from the button below.

Residual stress reference piece "CMRS" for X-ray stress measurement and equipment anomaly check.

A new standard for inspection and measurement! Easily check for measurement anomalies regardless of type, method, or skill level.

By using residual stress reference specimens, operators can determine whether measurements are being conducted according to procedures and whether there are any abnormalities in the measuring instruments, regardless of their skill level or the type and method of the measuring equipment, and without needing to understand the complex principles of measurement. The usage is simply to measure CMRS with your measuring equipment as usual! With just this, anyone can easily check for abnormalities in measurements. CMRS offers: ■ High stress - 1600MPa (gear material) ■ Medium stress - 800MPa (spring material) ■ Low stress - 400MPa (welded structural steel) ■ Extremely low stress - less than 50MPa (gear material, spring material) The lineup is determined by combining the materials and processing conditions (such as heat treatment and peening) used by the customer, allowing you to choose reference specimens that closely resemble the actual products you will measure. Additionally, a test report detailing the measurement conditions is attached to the CMRS, enabling you to compare the instrument differences and measurement methods with your measuring equipment, thus verifying the reliability of the measurement results. Consultation is also available for materials and stresses outside the above lineup.

We will introduce the resistance to pitting corrosion test of "SIRICOROI." First, prepare a test solution of 6% hydrochloric acid and ferric chloride solution. The test specimens are produced from various materials under different heat treatment conditions. The surface roughness is adjusted using waterproof sandpaper #400, and degreasing is performed with acetone. Then, each material is immersed in the 6% hydrochloric acid and ferric chloride solution at room temperature for 96 hours, and the weight change before and after the test is measured using a precision balance to determine the degree of corrosion. Hardness reduction test of silicone resin heat treatment material after holding at 700°C.

The thermal conductivity of Silicoroid XVI is 11.9 W/mK! It may have an advantage in a short period of time.

This is an introduction to the hardness reduction test of age-hardened materials after holding at 700°C. The aim is to investigate the hardness reduction in a short-term high-temperature holding environment, assuming processes like brazing. Test specimens that have undergone aging treatment were placed in an electric furnace (atmospheric furnace) held at 700°C, and hardness measurements were conducted after removing them at various set times and allowing them to return to room temperature. Additional aging treatment (460°C for 4 hours in air) was performed on the same specimens, followed by re-measurement. For more details, please download and refer to the catalog. [Test Specimens] - Material: Silico Alloy XVI (round bar) φ28mm × 10mm, cut into 4 pieces - Solution Treatment: 1050°C/WQ - Preliminary Aging: 200°C for 2 hours in air - Age-Hardening Treatment: 460°C for 12 hours in air - Polishing Finish: Polished with #400 waterproof paper (oxide scale removed) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Dried Kunyit turmeric slices from Indonesia [Sample available]

Dried rhizome slices of Indonesian turmeric that surpass Okinawan autumn turmeric.

Turmeric (also known as Curcuma, Ukkon, or Kunyit) is a perennial herb belonging to the ginger family, Zingiberaceae. Its scientific name is Curcuma longa (syn. C. domestica). The English name is turmeric. It is native to South and Southeast Asia. The Indonesian and Malay name Kunyit (often pluralized in English as Kunyits) is also well-known in Japan. This is the dried rhizome of Kunyit turmeric, which has a curcumin content that exceeds that of autumn turmeric produced in Japan. The curcumin content of Indonesian Kunyit turmeric is about five times that of Okinawan turmeric. Tropical plants originating from tropical countries are ideally suited to their native environments. Moisture content is below 10%. It can be used as a powdered ingredient within Japan or directly in cooking.

Wear-resistant material "Quick Tip"

Hard facing with carbide tips is possible on any shape, whether flat or curved!

"Quick Tip" is a small sintered piece made of hard metal (WC-Co) that significantly enhances the toughness of the base material surface when applied through welding. Due to the three-dimensional nature of the bonding surface, it has low peeling properties and ensures sufficient bonding strength. Additionally, the wear resistance is handled by the hard metal block, while the toughness is provided by the alloy within the minute gaps, allowing for the realization of a surface that is both hard and flexible, which has been an ideal goal. [Features] ■ High bonding strength ■ Resistant to thermal shock ■ Excellent toughness and wear resistance ■ Applicable to any shape *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
