[Development Case] AGV-Equipped Elevator Relay System

Support for system implementation! It is possible to integrate the new AGV transport system with existing auxiliary elevators.

We will introduce a case study on the development of a system that relays control communication between existing auxiliary elevators and a new AGV transport system during the introduction of a new AGV package into an old-style AGV transport system. The relay panel's PLC receives AGV position information via serial communication from the management PC of the AGV transport system, adjusts the timing, and outputs control signals to the auxiliary elevators. [Development Case] Production Line Safety Control System

A system that has introduced a safety PLC for safety assurance! Here are examples from the manufacturing industry.

We would like to introduce a development case of the "Production Line Safety Control System," which controls process equipment on the production line, as well as the control of transport and welding robots. In some processes, operators may need to enter the operational areas of equipment and robots for tasks such as loading parts and quality checks. To ensure that operators, equipment, and robots do not interfere with each other, we constructed the system using a safety PLC and safety devices compatible with Safety over EtherCAT to monitor safety sensors and the status of equipment and robots over the network. INTALOGIC is a software PLC that can be easily integrated into various control devices without depending on hardware or OS. It allows for the simple and cost-effective development of high-value-added user-specific control systems and units. Since INTALOGIC operates on a microcontroller board, it enables miniaturization of devices. Customization for I/O processing and point counts is also possible. The development language for INTALOGIC is ladder language, which is commonly used in control systems (compliant with IEC61131-3). In C language microcontroller program development, changes in specifications can lead to a lot of work, including program modifications, compilation, and writing to ROM. However, with INTALOGIC, you can easily respond to changes by simply modifying the ladder program and transferring it to the target. Additionally, INTALOGIC allows for the simulation of created ladder programs on a computer, enabling parallel development of hardware and control programs, which significantly shortens the development lead time. We have housed the MELSEC Q series sequencer in a pressure-resistant explosion-proof box and obtained domestic explosion-proof certification. Electrical equipment used in hazardous locations, even if certified for explosion-proof use overseas such as IECEx or ATEX, cannot be used in Japan without undergoing domestic explosion-proof testing. This product has obtained domestic explosion-proof certification (TIIS certification) and can be safely used in explosion-proof areas. If the power supply ratings and other standards are met, it is possible to replace units from the Q series that are not standard. It is ideal for replacing conventional air purge panels and similar equipment. Since it can control external devices such as solenoid valves in hazardous locations, replacing the control unit of existing equipment with this product makes it easier to achieve explosion-proof compliance. Additionally, it can accept inputs from sensors and measuring instruments, allowing for easy construction of data collection systems in hazardous locations. When combined with our product, the "Pressure-Resistant Explosion-Proof CC-Link Remote I/O Expansion Unit," it is also possible to expand the number of signal I/O and analog I/O points, enabling the construction of data collection and signal monitoring systems in hazardous locations.
