【Compression Molding Materials】PI, PAI, PEEK, PPS
Since the amount of resin required for a single molded product is small, it is possible to produce a small quantity of a variety of products!
In compression molding, the resin is slowly solidified, resulting in a higher degree of crystallization. As a result, compared to non-reinforced grades of injection-molded and extruded products, rigidity and strength increase, while toughness slightly decreases. In the case of reinforced grades, the orientation of fibers and polymers is random, leading to a tendency for tensile strength to be lower compared to injection-molded and extruded products. Since the amount of resin required for a single molded product is small, it allows for the production of small quantities of various items. Even if it is not a standard stock item, made-to-order production can be accommodated with a minimum lot size of one piece and a short delivery time. **Advantages of Compression Molding Materials** - Minimal warping during machining - Low anisotropy in physical properties - Made-to-order production possible from a minimum lot of one piece - Capability to manufacture large materials *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
