Due to the difficulty of gripping the product with a chuck when grinding the end face, we designed and manufactured a jig that allows us to consistently achieve a geometric tolerance of 5/1000. The product has a bowl-like shape, which posed a challenge in how to secure it during processing. We addressed this by repurposing existing jigs and designing and manufacturing new ones.
