AcroPrep 24-well filter plate for clarification and sterilization by filtration

Industry first!! A 24-well filter plate that enables clarification and filtration sterilization in one step.

**Protein Purification Using Sample Clarification and Filtration Sterilization Filter Plates** This is a 24-well type filter plate that allows for simultaneous clarification and filtration sterilization of multiple cell culture fluids and biological samples. The plate, which has a built-in pre-filter, can remove coarse particles and cell debris, while simultaneously performing filtration sterilization with a 0.2 µm main filter. It can be used for suction filtration with a dedicated suction manifold, and is also compatible with centrifugal filtration. Each well can hold up to 7 mL of solution, making it suitable for relatively large sample volumes, and it is ideal for the clarification process of multiple samples.

AcroPrep filter plates for pre-filtration of multiple samples

Simultaneous pre-filtration of multiple samples of water-soluble or organic solvent samples!

Cytiva's filter plates can perform pre-filtration of the majority of samples simultaneously using centrifugation or suction manifolds. For precise filtration of common aqueous solutions, we recommend the use of Supor (PES) membranes. Supor has high flow characteristics and is an excellent membrane material that meets the requirements for biological, pharmaceutical research, and sterilizing filtration. It also has low protein binding and broad chemical compatibility. Supor membranes are available in various pore sizes depending on the purpose of sample pre-treatment. ■ 0.1 μm - Reduction of mycoplasma ■ 0.2 μm - Sterilizing filtration ■ 0.45 μm - Clarification, filtration of large viruses ■ 0.8 - 5 μm - Removal of large particles, pre-filtration For the clarification of cells or lysates, filter plates equipped with pre-filters are recommended. By incorporating a pre-filter, clogging of the main filter is less likely to occur.

Nucleic Acid Binding (NAB) AcroPrep Filter Plate

A multi-well filter plate equipped with a membrane that can efficiently bind DNA and RNA from multiple samples.

The AcroPrep 96-well filter plate features a silica-based quartz glass fiber media that efficiently captures DNA and RNA for nucleic acid binding (NAB). This media can be used to purify plasmid DNA from bacteria or genomic DNA and total RNA from cell culture samples. Therefore, it can be utilized for a wide range of applications with a single plate. This filter plate has a structure with longer tips at the bottom of the wells, minimizing sample leakage. This property reduces the risk of cross-contamination when removing the filter plate from the receiver plate. To reduce costs, Cytiva's NAB plates can be used in conjunction with commercially available reagents to prepare genomic DNA or RNA, achieving quality and yield that is equal to or greater than that of commercial kits.

AcroPrep filter plate for ultrafiltration

High-throughput ultrafiltration process for most protein, nucleic acid, and biomolecular nanoparticle samples!

AcroPrep filter plates can perform high-throughput ultrafiltration processes for protein and nucleic acid samples, viral vectors, and extracellular vesicles. They utilize modified PES as the ultrafiltration membrane and support a wide range of MWCO (molecular weight cut-off) from 1K to 100K. Additionally, they have low protein binding properties, contributing to high recovery rates of samples. The filter plates are available in three formats: 24, 96, and 384 wells. When selecting the MWCO, it is recommended to choose a MWCO that is 1/3 to 1/6 times the molecular weight of the protein to be retained when concentrating proteins. For recovering the filtrate, it is advisable to select a membrane with an MWCO that is 3 to 6 times that of the target protein. We are distributing samples for free, so please indicate your desired number of wells and MWCO value in the inquiry section. In the FASP method, it is used for chemical modifications of purified proteins and washing of reaction reagents on a 96-well ultrafiltration membrane.
