Zinc plating

"Zinc plating" involves electrolyzing the iron substrate in a zinc plating solution to create a zinc plating film, followed by the formation of a chromate conversion coating. The coating consists of two layers: a zinc layer and a chromate layer, providing high corrosion resistance. It prevents the occurrence of rust (red rust and white rust) on the material (iron). Corrosion resistance evaluation is conducted through a neutral salt spray test in accordance with JIS H8502.
