The "Model 717" is a pressure gauge used in measurement locations where negative pressure (vacuum) is applied, allowing for accurate readings of vacuum and also capable of handling high positive pressure. In conventional pressure gauges, as the pressure range increases, the range for negative pressure becomes narrower.
