Modulo Uno

Compact Laser Ultrasonic Receiving Device

Modulo Uno is a laser ultrasonic receiving device that uses Multi-Channel Random Quadrature (MCRQ) technology. It belongs to the same series as the existing laser receiving device QUARTET, but it is equipped with only one set of detectors compared to QUARTET, which has two sets. Since the laser output is lower than that of QUARTET, it can also be used for composite and biomedical applications.

Case Studies of Network RTK Utilization: "Surveying Operations"

Introducing examples of the use of "network-type RTK" in the field of survey operations.

This document introduces examples of the use of a unique technology (JENOBA method) that utilizes real-time data from electronic reference points in the field of survey operations for "network-based RTK." It includes comparisons and verifications of "network-based RTK and DGPS (beacon)" in shallow and deep surveys, as well as examples of use in "subsea stratum surveys" and "information box facility surveys." It demonstrates that measurements can be taken even within bays and that they can be easily conducted by just one person. 【Published Examples】 ■ Expanding use of network-based RTK! Various accuracy verifications and case studies (Apeo Giken Co., Ltd.) ■ Case study of network-based RTK in volume measurement (Tochigi Prefecture Land Compensation Consultant Co., Ltd.) ■ Implementation example of subsea stratum survey using network-based RTK (Fukken Survey Design Co., Ltd.) ■ Network-based RTK observation for information box facility surveys (Eiko Technical Consultant Co., Ltd.) ■ Evaluation of urban reference points using network-based RTK (Nippo Co., Ltd.) *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Centerline and longitudinal survey of high-voltage transmission lines

Introducing the use of network-type RTK in the centerline and longitudinal surveying of high-voltage transmission lines.

We would like to introduce a case study by Haidex Co., Ltd. and Mr. Wajima regarding "centerline and longitudinal surveying of high-voltage transmission lines" utilizing network RTK. In this case, due to the harsh mountainous conditions during the snowfall season, we primarily used network RTK, and in locations where mobile phone communication was not possible or where satellite data was difficult to capture, we also employed a total station. Furthermore, the network RTK was used for multiple sets of observations through single-point observation methods, with a horizontal limit of 2 cm based on the differences between sets, and the average value was adopted. The observation work was carried out relatively smoothly. Additionally, given the conditions of snow accumulation and mountainous terrain, what would have taken approximately 10 person-days (2 people for 5 days) using only a total station was completed in about half the time. 【Solution】 - Utilized network RTK for the centerline and longitudinal surveying of approximately 20 km of high-voltage transmission lines. - Combined the use of network RTK as the main method with a total station. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Public Sewer Project Plan

Utilizing network-type RTK in the public sewer system project plan!

The Imperial Construction Consultant Co., Ltd. will introduce a case study utilizing network-type RTK in the "Public Sewer Project Planning." In this project, the elevation of road intersections is a crucial keyword, so several benchmark points were set within the area using third-class leveling. Each day, the existing benchmark points were used as starting and closing points in the morning and afternoon, respectively, to correct the average differential values to the network-type RTK observation values. This ensured the necessary accuracy for the project and allowed for the determination of appropriate elevations. Additionally, since the terrain gradient within the area is important for the overall sewer project planning, the company conducts three-dimensional measurements using network-type RTK at all road intersection centers, gradient change points, and planar change points, and reflects the results in the sewer piping plan. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Example] Topographic survey and benchmark survey along the coastline.

Achieve low costs with short-term work! Utilize network-based RTK method!

The limited company Kindai Surveying will introduce a case study utilizing network-based RTK in "topographic surveying and benchmark surveying along the coastline." In this topographic and benchmark surveying at the coast, it was necessary to establish benchmarks both inside the levee and on the seaside. Due to the height of the breakwater, visibility was impossible with a total station, so we utilized the network-based RTK method. Particularly, the use at the coast allowed for good overhead visibility, enabling observations without much concern for satellite conditions. 【Scope of Work】 ■ Topographic Surveying and Benchmark Surveying - 18 benchmark points, area of 2.0 ha, length of 1.2 km *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Establishment of control points in aerial photogrammetry

Introducing examples using the network-based RTK method!

We would like to introduce a case study by Fujiyama Co., Ltd. on the installation of reference points in aerial photogrammetry using network-based RTK. Aerial photogrammetry requires reference points for photo referencing, and the work area is extensive, typically involving measurements with 3 to 4 reference point accuracy based on public coordinates. In this case study, we utilized the network-based RTK method for the installation of 36 reference points over a work area of 25 km² while conducting bore-sighting and accuracy verification of the POS system used in aerial photogrammetry. The work area had good conditions for surveying, with clear visibility and good mobile phone reception in flat terrain. 【Benefits and Effects】 ■ Observations can be made with a single device ■ Short observation time without the need to consider line of sight ■ Reduction in the number of workers and shortening of the construction period ■ Work can be carried out with less than half the man-hours compared to conventional methods *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Third-class benchmark surveying using simultaneous observation method with two network-type RTK systems.

Simultaneous observation of two units using network RTK! Observation completed in just one and a half days!

We would like to introduce a case study conducted by Shinsoku Giken Co., Ltd. on "3rd Class Benchmark Survey using Network RTK with Simultaneous Observation of Two Units." From the new points of 55, it was a site that required 4 days with 10 receivers and 4 personnel for static observation as usual. In this case, due to difficulties in arranging equipment and personnel, we conducted simultaneous observation with two units using network RTK with the cooperation of Sokia Co., Ltd. 【Site Overview】 ■ Number of Points - Reference Points: 7 - New Points: 55 ■ Date and Time - 2 days - 17th (8:54 AM - 6:11 PM) *Number of observation vectors: 53 - 18th (9:05 AM - 2:25 PM) *Number of observation vectors: 30 ■ Equipment: 2 sets of Network RTK ■ Personnel: 2 people *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Installation work for fourth-class reference points for land surveying.

Achieved approximately one-third time reduction compared to conventional methods! Utilizing network-based RTK!

We would like to introduce a case where M.T.Y. Synthetic Co., Ltd. utilized a network-type RTK for "the installation work of fourth-class reference points for land surveying." The site involved the installation of fourth-class reference points for land surveying. It was a flat area on a high ground, and there were no issues with satellite conditions or mobile phone communication. A total of 6 points were installed, achieving good results with an accuracy of within 1 cm. The operation went smoothly without any hindrances, and the work was completed in one day. 【Benefits and Effects】 ■ Achieved approximately one-third time reduction compared to conventional methods ■ Cost reduction ■ Shortened delivery time ■ Due to the reduction in on-site work time, we are now able to accept more jobs than before *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
