Teratec Construction Report: Concrete Paved Road
Solving issues with concrete paved roads! Introducing examples of void filling and unevenness correction.
We would like to introduce a case where the issues of subsidence and voids in concrete paved roads were resolved using the Teratec method. The "Teratec method" is a technique that allows for the filling of "voids" beneath concrete paved roads caused by ground subsidence and groundwater, enabling the quick correction of dangerous "differentials and bumps" in the road surface. [Issues] In the concrete paved road within a tunnel on a national highway in Shizuoka, differentials and bumps were occurring. [Reason for Choosing Teratec] Due to the short duration of the national highway maintenance and repair work, conventional methods were not feasible, so we were looking for a method that could be implemented in a short time. The Teratec method was adopted because it allows for the correction of differentials in a short construction time. [Feedback After Construction] We were able to complete the work over an area of 115m2 in 2 days (from 9 PM to 6 AM the following morning). [Case Summary] ■ Concrete paved road within a national highway tunnel - Location: Shizuoka Prefecture - Construction area: 115m2 - Construction period: 2 days (from 9 PM to 6 AM the following morning) *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
