What is a clean room?

Control the wind shape and airflow distribution within a certain range! Trivia about painting booths and clean rooms.

A clean room refers to a space where airborne microscopic particles and microorganisms are managed to be below a specified cleanliness level. It is designed to remove materials, chemicals, water, and other impurities, as well as to prevent the introduction of waste. Microparticles cannot be completely removed by standard air conditioning air filters. Therefore, during the design phase of a clean room, various measures are taken to prevent the intrusion of microparticles and bacteria from the outside and to avoid their generation within the clean room. Our company proposes the design and construction of clean rooms with specified cleanliness levels tailored to the purpose and application. Uses of clean rooms

Classified into two categories: industrial use and food and pharmaceutical use! Both utilize high-performance air filters.

Clean rooms are classified into two categories based on their intended use. Industrial Clean Rooms (ICR) are primarily used in various industrial manufacturing processes and are managed to maintain levels of airborne particles below a specified threshold. On the other hand, Biological Clean Rooms (BCR) are used for contamination prevention in the pharmaceutical and food manufacturing industries, biotechnology research, and the medical field. Both types of clean rooms utilize high-performance air filters to purify the air in the room, following the same methods and principles. 【Features of Industrial Clean Rooms (ICR)】 - Evaluated based on air cleanliness (number of suspended dust particles) - Cleanliness is ensured through the dust removal effectiveness of high-performance filters - Used in semiconductor manufacturing processes, LCD manufacturing processes, electronic components, printing, printed circuit boards, lenses, optics, films, precision instruments, and also in space development research. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

How clean does a clean room get?

Particles of 0.1μm or larger in the air per cubic meter are the standard! Our company conducts cleanliness measurements after construction.

The level of clean air is referred to as cleanliness (class), and it is commonly expressed as the number of particles contained in a unit volume. The standards for air cleanliness in clean rooms have transitioned to the internationally unified ISO standards. According to ISO standards, the reference is based on particles of 0.1μm or larger per cubic meter of air, and classes are categorized from ISO Class 1 to 9. The class that we particularly receive requests for is Class 10,000, which is the standard required for general factories and inspection processes in clean rooms. Additionally, we can accommodate requests for Class 100,000 to 10,000, or, depending on the conditions, even Class 1,000. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Construction Achievements: Clean Room with Complex Shapes

The cleanliness level is class 10,000! We were able to complete the work in a short period of just 2 days!

We would like to introduce the clean room construction achievements by Yoshida Industries. The customer requested to completely isolate the processing machines within the factory. They also wanted to be able to use a crane, so we proposed a "clean room with opening and closing functionality." Due to the complex shape, the construction was challenging, but we focused on achieving a high level of airtightness to ensure there were no gaps. The customer was very pleased, and we were able to complete the project in a short period of just two days. [Background of Implementation] - The customer's request to completely isolate the processing machines within the factory. - We proposed a clean room with opening and closing functionality to accommodate the use of a crane. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Presentation of construction examples for a simple clean room/clean booth that can be completed in 2 days!

Are you struggling with defects or foreign matter due to dust and dirt? Clean room construction can be completed in a short period of 2 to 3 days at a low cost!

Yoshida Kogyo Co., Ltd. provides custom-made clean rooms that match the shape of the site and equipment without compromising workability. Large grinding machines can also be converted into clean rooms in a pinpoint manner. We offer a wide range of clean classes to meet customer requests and budgets. Additionally, the construction takes only 2 to 3 days, minimizing the impact on factory operations. 【Do you have any of these concerns?】 ■ Want to collect dust in specific spots to prevent machine failures caused by grease and dust ■ Want to create a clean room for only part of the area to avoid high costs associated with cleaning the entire room to prevent product defects When you hear "clean room," do you think it means the entire room? Our company has the technology to create clean rooms in specific areas through our unique technology and precise design. 【Construction Examples】 ■ Cleaned only the main parts of a plastic molding machine with a mobile clean booth → By targeting one machine and further converting part of it into a clean booth, we significantly reduced costs ■ Cleaned only the surroundings of two large NC machines, not the entire factory → By installing a tent-type clean room in part of the factory, we shortened the process and reduced costs *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.

[Clean Room Case] Tent-Type Clean Room

Part of it has been converted into a clean room! The process has also been shortened, and costs have been reduced.

We received a request from a customer who is introducing two large NC machines, stating that due to product precision requirements, the environment around the NC machines must be kept clean. Since we cannot make the entire factory environment clean, we have converted part of it into a clean room. By installing a tent-type clean room in part of the factory, we were able to shorten the process and reduce costs. It is possible to achieve cleanliness and manage temperature and humidity without compromising on the standards of a regular clean room. Our company can provide customized proposals according to your budget. Please feel free to consult with us at any time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Clean Room Case] Mobile Clean Room

Cleaning only the main parts! Introducing a case study where significant cost reductions were achieved.

We received a request to clean the plastic molding machine. While it is possible to place the entire molding machine inside a clean room, we proposed a "clean booth" since it would be sufficient to clean only the main parts of the machine. By targeting a single machine rather than the entire factory and further converting part of it into a clean booth, we were able to significantly reduce costs. The results met the specified requirements, so we can confidently present this to the client's clients. We also have specifications for similar equipment that can achieve Class 10000 with temperature and humidity control. Please feel free to consult us at any time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Example] Installation of a Simple Clean Room for Company N in the Large Parts Manufacturing Industry

Construction period is 2 to 3 days! Cleanroom level, shape, etc. are custom-designed and constructed.

At Company N, a large parts manufacturing company, there were multiple processing machines at the time, and the factory was constantly filled with invisible polishing powder, mist, and dust. As a result, during critical finishing processes (such as mirror finishing and glass material processing), these particles became the cause of fine scratches, leading to significant complaint costs. To address this, a simple cleanroom was installed. It was much more cost-effective compared to an actual cleanroom, and the installation took only 2 to 3 days, which did not affect the factory's operations. Consequently, the issue of finishing surface complaints was resolved, and we received very positive feedback from the site. [Case Summary] ■ Challenges - The factory was constantly filled with invisible polishing powder, mist, and dust. - These particles caused fine scratches during processing, resulting in significant complaint costs. - There were no funds for construction costs, and there was no downtime for the machines. ■ Results - The installation took only 2 to 3 days, so there was no impact on factory operations. - The issue of finishing surface complaints was resolved. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
