[Issue/Factory Improvement Case] Food Factory Attic Heat Mitigation (Heat Insulation)

A case where a high-performance aluminum heat insulation sheet is laid in the attic to prevent radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory.

We would like to introduce a case study on heat mitigation measures in the ceiling space of a food factory. The company faced the challenge of wanting to improve the working environment for the workers in the factory (to implement heat mitigation measures). To address this, they laid high-performance aluminum heat insulation sheets in the ceiling space with the image of making the entire building a super shade, preventing radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory. As a result, we received feedback from customers saying, "I am looking forward to this summer. There is a warehouse that is hot and problematic, so I would like to implement heat mitigation measures there next." [Case Study] ■ Challenge: To improve the working environment for workers in the factory (to implement heat mitigation measures) ■ Measures: Laid high-performance aluminum heat insulation sheets in the ceiling space to prevent radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory (with the image of making the entire building a super shade) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Issues and Factory Improvement Case] Heat Mitigation Measures (Heat Shielding) for the Factory Warehouse Roof and West Wall

An example where the temperature under the roof was 51°C in the unconstructed area, and a difference of 22°C was achieved in the constructed area, which was 29°C.

We would like to introduce an example of heat mitigation improvements for the factory warehouse roof and west wall. "There was a challenge of heat accumulating inside the building during the summer, making it uncomfortable for workers, and we wanted to implement heat mitigation measures." To address this, we installed high-performance aluminum heat-shielding sheets on the roof and walls with the image of making the entire building extremely shaded, preventing solar radiation heat from entering the interior. As a result, the temperature under the roof in the untreated area was 51°C, while in the treated area it was 29°C, achieving a difference of 22°C. [Case Study] ■ Challenge: Heat accumulates inside the building during the summer, making it uncomfortable for workers (wanting to implement heat mitigation measures) ■ Solution: Installed high-performance aluminum heat-shielding sheets on the roof and walls to prevent solar radiation heat from entering the interior (with the image of making the entire building extremely shaded) *If the roof is high, it may be difficult to feel the effects of heat shielding by only applying it under the roof. In this case, applying heat shielding to the walls (especially the sunny west and south walls) will enhance the heat shielding effect. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Heat Shielding: Case Study of Heat Stress Mitigation in High-Temperature Work Environments in Factories

Examples of protecting workers from radiant heat in workplaces handling high-temperature materials.

We would like to introduce an example of improving heat stress measures by placing a heat-insulating sheet (non-combustible type) between high-temperature objects and workers to protect workers from radiant heat. There was a challenge: "We want to protect workers in workplaces handling high-temperature objects from heat and implement heat stress measures." In response, a heat-insulating sheet was installed like a partition between high-temperature objects and workers. As a result, an easy-to-implement heat stress measure to protect workers was achieved. By suspending it with wires or securing it to movable partitions or safety fences, it can be easily removed during maintenance, allowing for installation that adapts to the factory's flexibility. [Example] ■ Challenge: Want to protect workers from high-temperature objects (want to implement heat stress measures) ■ Measure: Use high-performance aluminum heat-insulating sheets as partitions *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Heat Shield Control Panel Temperature Rise Prevention Improvement Case Study

Examples of protecting control panels from radiant heat.

We would like to introduce a case where we protected a control panel from radiant heat and prevented temperature rise. There was a challenge where "the control panel located near the furnace was constantly exposed to radiant heat from the furnace, causing the control panel inverter to burn out. We wanted to quickly implement measures to prevent recurrence." As a solution, we applied high-temperature thermal insulation sheets to the target control panel. (The installation was carried out by the customer.) As a result, the surface temperature of the control panel decreased from 70°C to 30°C, a reduction of 40°C. This measure prevented the recurrence of damage to the control panel and was applied to all similar locations. Similar cases exist for outdoor distribution boards that are exposed to direct sunlight in summer, where temperature rises can also be addressed with similar solutions. [Case Study] ■ Challenge: Protect the control panel from radiant heat and prevent temperature rise. ■ Measure: Apply thermal insulation sheets to the control panel to cut radiant heat. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
