[Examples of Solenoid Applications] Office machines and equipment - Typewriter printing device
Introducing an example of applying the SDC type solenoid to the printing mechanism of a Japanese typewriter.
Japanese typewriters have more characters compared to English typewriters, requiring each character to be picked up individually. Additionally, due to the long operating distance of the holder, a larger lever ratio is necessary. By energizing the solenoid, lever (A) is lifted around the pivot point, and lever (B) is pulled in the direction of the arrow. The holder picks up the imprint and rotates around the pivot point to print on the paper. When the energization is released, lever (A) descends, and lever (B) returns. The holder flips back to its original position while the platen advances one character in the direction of the arrow. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*
