Technical documentation for 0.2% BeCu alloy technology achieving low gas emissions and low temperature.

A vacuum structural material that breaks conventional wisdom: 0.2% BeCu alloy. Achieving low gas emission and low temperature! A substitute for stainless steel.

When it comes to vacuum structural materials, stainless steel and titanium are common, but they have a very high absorption rate for thermal radiation (from infrared to visible light) and are metals that do not conduct heat well. As a result, once heat is absorbed, it does not easily escape, causing the temperature of vacuum chambers and flanges to rise, which leads to a significant increase in gas release. Beryllium copper, on the other hand, has an extremely high thermal conductivity and a low thermal emissivity, which prevents it from reaching high temperatures and greatly reduces gas release. Additionally, by incorporating beryllium, it becomes harder, allowing for the use of copper gaskets, making it a suitable material for use in ultra-high vacuum conditions.

Are you having trouble with gas release from the inner walls of the vacuum chamber?

Here is the answer! We will introduce solutions and examples for gas release in vacuum chambers!

A new vacuum structural material that significantly reduces gas release from the inner walls by using BeCu alloy instead of the conventional stainless steel used in vacuum systems! BeCu alloy has a low emissivity and excellent thermal conductivity, allowing it to quickly dissipate even the slight heat it absorbs, thereby reducing the gas release speed to less than 1/10 by suppressing temperature rise. 【Features】 ■ Significantly reduces gas release in vacuum systems ■ Improves achieved vacuum ■ Copper surface is passivated with NiP ■ Capable of baking up to 300°C ■ Copper gaskets can be used *For more details, please refer to the materials available for download in PDF format or feel free to contact us.

Vibration-damping and vibration-isolating rubber laminated structural materials 'URB' and 'NRB'

Data sheets are being presented. We can accommodate changes in color and elasticity. We offer a lineup of polyurethane and natural rubber with excellent damping properties.

Our company provides laminated structures made of rubber materials and steel plates that respond to horizontal loads and contribute to vibration reduction, seismic isolation, vibration control, and vibration suppression. We offer a lineup of 'URB (Urethane Rubber Bearings)' with excellent damping properties and the ability to be colored, as well as 'NRB (Natural Rubber Bearings)' made from natural rubber. These can be designed to meet specific needs regarding the rubber's elasticity (hardness), shape, and dimensions. If you are considering vibration countermeasures in mechanical or structural design, please feel free to consult us. 【Features】 - Urethane products exhibit low stiffness and high damping across a wide amplitude range. Special shapes other than cylinders and prisms can also be produced using casting methods. - Natural rubber products are suitable as spring elements, with numerous applications in machinery, construction, and civil engineering. - The hardness (elasticity) of the rubber can be widely adjusted. *For more details, please refer to the materials available for download in the <Catalog>. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

[Construction Example] Office / Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture

The second floor is a large space measuring 10.92m × 24.57m! An example of a two-story office building with a span of 11m realized using only residential materials.

Here is a case study of an office constructed in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture. The two-story office building with an 11m span was realized using only residential materials. Although it is relatively large for a wooden office building, the first floor is designed with small rooms to limit the span of the floor beams, allowing for a spacious area on the second floor. This reasonable structural planning made it possible to use residential-sized structural materials throughout. The second floor features a large space measuring 10.92m x 24.57m. You can view more details about the case through the related links, so please take a look. 【Case Overview】 ■ Span: 8–10m ■ Fire Resistance: None ■ Completion Year: 2014 ■ Location: Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 660m2 ■ Hardware Used: Tech One Series / Tech One P3 Plus *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

The charm of stainless steel

Aiming for semi-permanent characteristics, our products are also used as reinforcement steel for the protection of Okinotorishima.

The use of stainless steel has been utilized in many applications due to its excellent design and outstanding durability. Stainless steel can be considered an environmentally friendly structural material. In this context, with the aim of directly utilizing its properties as a structural material, stainless steel has been legally defined as a major structural component alongside carbon steel, allowing for free design using stainless steel as a structural material. At Alloy, based on our extensive knowledge of stainless steel, we will help our customers deeply understand the properties of stainless steel tailored to their needs and provide high-quality, durable products.
