This document introduces the implementation results of the energy-saving controller system "TKS." "TKS" is a unique solution from Taiyo Aresco that enables real-time monitoring of the operational status of refrigeration and freezing equipment, achieving significant energy savings and improvements in the internal environment. When "TKS" was introduced to a general food wholesale business in Shizuoka Prefecture, the energy consumption under TKS control was reduced by approximately 29.7% compared to before. On January 16, 2019, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry solidified their policy to strengthen regulations on alternative refrigerants under the Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law. According to survey results compiled by the Ministry of the Environment in December 2018, it was revealed that 63% of alternative refrigerants used in equipment such as air conditioners and refrigerators are disposed of without being recovered at the time of equipment disposal.
