Surface treatment "Black dyeing treatment (iron oxide skin film treatment - L5 treatment)"
Black oxide treatment, which has minimal dimensional changes and is used for rust prevention of precision machine parts. It also improves anti-reflective properties, heat absorption, and hydrophilicity!
Black dyeing treatment is an oxidation film that generates a black, insoluble film approximately 1μ thick on the surfaces of steel and non-ferrous metals through immersion methods. It includes iron oxide film treatment for steel (L5 treatment), alkaline coloring for stainless steel, and eponol treatment for copper and copper alloys. The black dyeing treatment is primarily aimed at enhancing aesthetics and rust prevention, but it may also meet needs such as reflection prevention from light, improved heat absorption, and increased hydrophilicity. Additionally, because it is a chemical conversion coating, unlike plating or coating, the entire film does not peel off. 【Features】 ■ Extremely little dimensional and weight change before and after treatment. ■ The thickness and weight of the film are almost constant depending on the material. ■ Does not cause physical changes to the material (treatment temperature is between 110°C and 140°C). ■ Beautiful black color with good adhesion. ■ Resistant to high temperatures above 200°C. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
