Wide-area temperature monitoring system for important buildings

We can handle vast areas with ease! We provide continuous temperature information 24 hours a day! Integration with various alarm systems is also possible!

In recent years, there have been many tragic incidents where important cultural properties designated by the government have been lost due to fires and other disasters. Among the buildings that have been lost, there are techniques that cannot be reproduced with current technology, and once they are lost, some important things can never be regained. However, it is extremely difficult for people to be vigilant for signs of fire 24 hours a day, and even a small oversight can lead to serious accidents. A wide-area temperature system using optical fibers can monitor the entire area where the cables are laid, capturing conditions in places that are often difficult for the human eye or cameras to reach. Our system can detect abnormal temperatures before the thermal decomposition of materials that could ignite, allowing for quicker detection and helping to protect the user's valuable assets. The cables we propose can be customized with different colors of insulation to match various buildings and objects, allowing for consideration of the landscape. If you have any interest after viewing this page, we would be happy to provide further explanations, so please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Permanent monitoring system for submarine power cables for offshore wind power generation facilities.

Monitoring cable temperature, stress load, and burial depth all at once, unaffected by weather or environmental conditions, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Actively being implemented in Europe!

In recent years, as the power generation business using renewable energy has become more active, the introduction of offshore wind power generation facilities is also progressing rapidly. Power generation equipment is designed to operate for an average of 20 to 30 years, making annual and continuous maintenance extremely important. Among these, the power cables buried on the seabed have limited methods for continuous monitoring, and sometimes these methods are not sufficient. The optical fiber-based information system that our company handles can establish a continuous monitoring system without the need to attach additional sensors to the cables, even for existing facilities, by using communication fibers attached to the target cables. Based on the information obtained from the optical fibers, we provide management of cable burial depth, temperature information management, stress load information, and load information on the wires, contributing to the health and longevity of the cables. Additionally, since distance information can also be obtained from the optical fibers, it is possible to detect abnormal locations with high accuracy in the event of an anomaly. This can also shorten the time required to confirm abnormal locations, which traditionally relied on ROVs.

Problem-Solving Materials: Improving Operating Rate Part 4-1 | Identifying Human Issues through Visualization

Visualizing more information to improve the workplace! Materials for discovering and solving issues in the production site.

This document is a series that proposes solutions to various challenges faced by production sites, focusing on the theme of "improving operational efficiency," from identifying issues to finding solutions. In Vol. 4-1, we will introduce the identification of "human-related challenges" at the site, which many "visualization" systems struggle with, under the theme of improving operational efficiency. [Document Overview] Many factors contributing to issues in the production and manufacturing process, such as variations in production performance, alarm occurrences, and reduced yield, are attributed to "human elements." To identify these human-related challenges, it is necessary to analyze the issues from multiple angles by utilizing more information, not just the operational status of machines, such as "running" or "stopping." This document introduces a "visualization" system that can obtain a wide range of information from equipment. It explains what kind of information can be acquired, along with specific examples of how this information can be utilized. Additionally, it discusses the system for centrally managing information in a site where equipment manufacturers and models are mixed, which is one of the challenges of visualization systems. *You can download the document using the button below.

[Case Study] Transportation: Municipal Bus Control and Monitoring System

Construction of a monitoring system using PoE connections for municipal bus transportation! We will introduce case studies.

In Taichung City, Taiwan, investments have been made to develop six BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) routes that cover the entire city. To ensure the safe and smooth operation of this entire BRT system, a real-time control and monitoring system is essential, and this network will be used at all BRT stations and the control center. Considering the hierarchical nature of the BRT system, an ideal solution for this application is to build a robust Ethernet backbone that supports centralized management and accommodates the large volume of data and video sent from over 40 BRT stations. [Case Study] ■ Industry: Transportation (Public Bus) ■ Purpose: Real-time control and monitoring system ■ Products Used: "SoftNVR-IA," "SoftCMS-500," "VPort 26A-1MP," "VPort P06-1MP," "IKS-6728A-8PoE," "ioLogik E2242-T" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
