This product is Oud (agarwood) chips made from Chinese Kynam, which contains high resin and high oil content, processed using a special "edge cut" method. The chips are selected from the "resin concentration area," where the fragrance concentration of Kynam is the highest, and have a texture that allows oils to seep out from one or both sides. When heated, they release a multidimensional aroma of honey, medicinal, woody, slight sweetness, bitterness, and freshness, making them suitable for both incense burning and fragrance blending. Kynam (agarwood) is known for its extreme rarity and complex aromatic components, featuring a layered transition of scents. These chips are processed into an edge shape from the areas with excellent fragrance release and concentration, and they are particularly well-regarded as a core aromatic material for Bakhoor and as a strengthening agent for the top to middle notes in perfumes and incense pastes. They can be used for fragrance expansion through high-temperature short heating or for aging with long-term low-temperature use.
