Measuring wind speed distribution! The structure within the flow velocity is designed to have an airfoil shape that minimizes wind resistance.
The "traverser for wind tunnels" is used to test the velocity distribution within the wind tunnel. It is equipped with a Pitot tube at its tip and moves in a grid pattern within the test space of the wind tunnel to measure the velocity distribution.
The movement along each axis is driven by a ball screw powered by an electric servo motor, and the structure within the velocity field is designed in an airfoil shape to minimize wind resistance.
When operating in automatic mode, it automatically moves and stops within the measurement volume to collect data.
