Shape Memory Alloy - SmartFlex Spring/Wire
With a fully vertically integrated manufacturing and development system, we can provide comprehensive proposals from Nitinol ingots to components and actuators!
Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) are unique metals that can return to their original memorized shape when they reach a specific temperature. Utilizing this property, they can be activated by sensing an increase in the surrounding temperature, such as in liquids or gases, or by being heated through electric current. By using SAES's SmartFlex springs and wires, as well as actuators made from them, it is possible to achieve miniaturization, energy savings, and noise reduction in products. There is no need for complex mechanisms; instead, the expansion and contraction of SMA springs and wires that respond to temperature can be utilized to replace actuator mechanisms with a powerful, yet simple, more compact, and stable design. 【Features】 ○ A wide range of transformation temperatures can be set. ○ SAES's SmartFlex meets all required specifications. ○ SAES's SmartFlex wires are specially developed for actuators.
