[Case Study] Phage Amplification for Crop Protection
No need for storage in an incubator with temperature fluctuations! Comparison with experiments conducted at Leuven University using the same process.
Introduction to the amplification of phages using the CellMaker Regular 8L system. First, 5L of low-sodium LB broth was pumped into the CellMaker bioreactor bag, and Agrobacterium inoculum was added. The optical density (OD) was measured at 600nm, and the initial OD value was recorded as 0.05. The temperature was maintained at 25°C by a Peltier plate mounted on the back of the enclosure unit. The experiment was stopped the following morning, approximately 15 hours after infection by the phages, and the final concentration of the elution was 1.25x10^10 PFU/mL. [Summary] ■ Equipment used: CellMaker Regular 8L system ■ Experiment content: Amplification of phages ■ Results - Concentration in the bag at the time of infection: 10^5 PFU/mL - Final concentration of the elution: 1.25x10^10 PFU/mL *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
