Our company has developed an amplification unit for force torque sensors, named "BL-RMAMP," and will begin sales in July 2011. Our force torque sensors are 6-axis force sensing devices primarily used in humanoid robot wrists, ankles, and multi-fingered multi-joint robotic hands. The amplification unit is designed to amplify the output from the sensor, and the RMAMP is a compact and lightweight amplification unit developed specifically for force torque sensors. ◆ Product Name: BL-RMAMP ◆ Background of Development: Traditionally, when using sensors in robot hands, it is common to use three or more sets, which poses constraints on installation space when incorporating the amplification section within the hand. There has been a strong demand for miniaturization and weight reduction.
