Analysis of genetic polymorphisms related to drug metabolism

The mass array method allows for the simultaneous analysis of multiple genetic polymorphisms.

There are individual differences in drug metabolism activity, and these differences are believed to be due to genetic polymorphisms. In the field of pharmacogenomics (PGx), there is an expectation for the application of personalized medicine that takes into account the effects of drugs, side effects, and drug interactions by investigating genetic polymorphisms. This document introduces the analysis of genetic polymorphisms related to drug metabolism using a designed analysis tool based on mass array methods. Genetic polymorphisms will be determined from the analysis results of SNPs (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms) and CNVs (Copy Number Variations) for 20 drug metabolism-related genes.

[Analysis Case] Analysis of Stray Losses in Power Transformers

Analyze stray load losses under the condition of the presence or absence of leakage flux blocking components in the transcoil!

We would like to introduce the "Analysis of Power Transformer Stray Losses" conducted by our company. The analysis mode is frequency response analysis (Time Harmonic), and the rated capacity of the power transformer is 100 MVA. The input frequency is 50 Hz/AC. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the leakage magnetic flux generated from the transformer coil is significantly and extensively collected at the shunt wall. 【Analysis Conditions】 ■ Analysis Mode: Frequency Response Analysis (Time Harmonic) ■ Power Transformer Rating: 100 MVA ■ Input Frequency: 50 Hz/AC ■ Shunt Wall (Flux Collector): Magnetic Material ■ Frame Material, Tank Material: Carbon Steel *Details of the case can be viewed through the related links. [Case Study] Behavior Analysis of Diaphragm Springs through Nonlinear Static Analysis

Non-linear static analysis of diaphragm spring behavior conducted! Reproduction of the jumping phenomenon.

We would like to introduce our analysis titled "Behavior Analysis of Diaphragm Springs Using Nonlinear Static Analysis." When a load is applied to a disc spring, the shape of the spring is complex, leading to not only bending but also twisting and buckling. Additionally, the support conditions are not constant, making it impossible to determine the load and stress using simple cantilever beam theory. In this analysis example, we were able to reproduce the jumping phenomenon of a diaphragm spring used in automotive clutches by conducting nonlinear static analysis on its behavior. 【Case Overview】 ■ Analysis Content: Nonlinear Static Analysis ■ Analysis Result: Reproduction of bidirectional jumping deformation of the diaphragm spring *For more detailed information about this case, please refer to the related links. For further inquiries, feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Magnetic Demagnetization Analysis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM)

Predicting the demagnetization state due to external factors that cause a magnet to lose its magnetism through analysis!

We would like to introduce the "Magnet Demagnetization Analysis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM)" conducted by our company. The analysis mode is transient response analysis, and the motor specifications are 3-phase, 8-pole, 48-slot, with distributed winding. The driving condition is 3,000 min-1. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the demagnetization occurs at locations on the rotor core where the magnetic flux density is high, and it was also determined that the surrounding temperature of 125°C affects the coercivity reduction of Nd-Fe-B magnets. 【Analysis Conditions (Partial)】 ■ Analysis Mode: Transient Response Analysis ■ Motor Specifications: 3-phase, 8-pole, 48-slot, distributed winding ■ Driving Condition: 3,000 min-1 ■ Magnet Surrounding Temperature: 125°C ■ Location of Electrical Short Circuit: Between Stator Windings *Details of the case can be viewed via the related link. [Analysis Case] Air Gap Magnetic Flux Density Analysis of Built-in Magnet Synchronous Motor

Understanding the magnetic flux density in the air gap is important! Here are some examples of magnetic flux density analysis for the relevant area.

We would like to introduce the "Air Gap Magnetic Flux Density Analysis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (IPMSM)" conducted by our company. The analysis mode used was transient response analysis, and the driving conditions were no load at 3,000 min-1, with the analysis executed at the 45° position in the right diagram for 1/8 of the section (2D). As a result of the analysis, it was found that the magnetic flux density penetrating the air gap between the stator and rotor changes relative to the excitation timing of the stator coil with respect to the rotating rotor. Therefore, analyzing the dynamic behavior is considered an effective approach. 【Analysis Conditions】 ■ Analysis Mode: Transient Response Analysis ■ Motor Specifications: 3-phase / 8-pole / 48-slot, distributed winding ■ Driving Conditions: No load / 3,000 min-1 ■ Analysis executed at the 45° position in the right diagram for 1/8 of the section (2D) ■ The air gap (air layer) between the stator and rotor is processed in 4 layers *For detailed information about this case, please refer to the related links. For more details, feel free to contact us.

Pathway analysis (proteomics analysis)

Simulation of the functions exerted on the skin and their mechanisms of action.

■Recommended for those with the following development challenges: - Want to comprehensively understand the functions of raw materials on the skin and elucidate their mechanisms of action. - Want to know what functional properties raw materials and ingredients exhibit on the skin. - Want to investigate if there are unknown strengths in existing raw materials. - Want to shorten the development lead time. ■Evaluation Features: - Shortens the lead time for raw material and ingredient development. - Enables mechanism analysis of skin functions (moisturizing, barrier function, antioxidant effects, etc.) through functional-level protein analysis. - Uses human-extracted skin, allowing customization of test conditions (age, gender, skin type, etc.). - Capable of conducting tests under conditions that are difficult for humans, such as applying strong stimuli. ■Test Overview: Using human-extracted skin, we capture the expression fluctuations of proteins due to the use of test products and simulate their mechanisms of action. This test will be conducted at an overseas partner testing facility.
