Corrosion analysis

Using equipment such as SEM/EDX! Conducting observations of cross-sectional corrosion conditions and confirming corrosion components through EDX analysis.

In our corrosion analysis, we verify the corrosion morphology, confirm corrosive components and composition, and estimate the causes of corrosion based on various analytical results. We use equipment such as optical microscopes, 3D microscopes, and SEM/EDX for this analysis. As examples of atmospheric exposure test evaluations, we have the distribution of corrosive components through surface analysis and the confirmation of corrosive components through qualitative analysis. 【Objectives】 ■ Confirmation of corrosion morphology ■ Confirmation of corrosive components and composition ■ Estimation of corrosion causes based on various analytical results *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Technical Report: Fracture Surface Analysis of Metals

By conducting fracture surface analysis using a microscope or FE-SEM, it is possible to estimate the fracture phenomenon!

Metal materials used as mechanical components can break depending on their usage and environment. By conducting fracture surface analysis using a microscope or FE-SEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope), it is possible to estimate the fracture phenomena. This document presents a case study of a fracture that occurred in a pinion shaft made of SNCM420 (nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel).
