Introducing a case where image data was successfully transmitted to the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa2."

We would like to introduce a case where we developed an "antenna for an asteroid exploration rover." As background, there was a request for the development of an antenna to be used for communication between the "asteroid exploration rover" and the Hayabusa2 spacecraft. As a solution, we selected substrate materials that meet environmental conditions and aimed to minimize thickness, height, and weight to reduce the impact of vibration during launch, while also enabling placement in the gaps between solar panels. Design and Development Product University Joint Use Organization National Institutes of Natural Sciences 800mm Diameter Antenna

We have manufactured a radio heliograph device for the Nobeyama Solar Radio Observatory of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. This antenna is designed to observe the solar surface, and by arranging a total of 84 parabolic antennas with a diameter of 800 mm in a T-shape over an area of 490 m east-west and 250 m north, it achieves performance equivalent to a 500 m diameter antenna. We will introduce a case study of solving issues in the drone industry using GNSS antennas. Our investigation revealed that there were problems with both the performance of the GPS antenna being used and its installation position.
