For food bottles, there were requests for "ease of extrusion (softness) and resilience for high-viscosity contents" and "deformation resistance during high-temperature filling" to be essential.
In response, we selected PP resin considering heat resistance among food-grade resins, and based on the results of prototype tests, we chose the resin grade. We proposed a three-type, five-layer multilayer bottle (blow-molded multilayer product) using EVOH.
The three-type, five-layer multilayer bottle using EVOH provides oxidation prevention effects, which results in an expected extension of the shelf life when used for food bottles.
