Coil - Air-core coil
Unlike winding coils that are wound around bobbins and similar spools, the wire materials are bonded together to maintain the coil shape using only copper wire.
Air-core coils, unlike winding coils that are wound around a bobbin or similar frame, maintain their coil shape solely with copper wire, with the wire materials bonded together. Therefore, they are often used in electronic devices that require space efficiency, compact size, and high performance. On the other hand, the material costs for the wire are generally high, and the winding machines also need to be specialized, making air-core coils more expensive compared to bobbin-wound winding coils.
