We targeted air conditioning units that had not been treated, those that underwent only chemical cleaning, and those that underwent both chemical cleaning and heat-insulating painting. For 10 days after the construction, we installed a cumulative meter to measure electricity consumption. We verified the extent of the difference in power usage based on the presence or absence of each treatment. The reduction rate in power consumption from chemical cleaning alone was approximately 8.5%, which is already a significant effect. However, by additionally applying heat-insulating paint, the reduction rate increased to approximately 36.0%. This confirmed that implementing both chemical cleaning and heat-insulating painting together yields substantial energy-saving effects.
