[Case Study] Achieving Total Cost Reduction

Reducing processing man-hours for wiring ducts! Introducing case studies of wiring duct processing services.

At Company H, which manufactures and sells equipment for plants and environmental-related devices, there were challenges such as "wanting to reduce the total cost during control panel production" and "there are limits to reducing the cost of materials." They produce a large number of control panels for purification tanks and wastewater treatment equipment, and while working on cost reduction for standard specification control panels, they decided to implement our service. They received feedback that not only did it lead to a reduction in manufacturing costs, but it also contributed to reducing costs that are usually not considered, such as the disposal costs of duct offcuts. 【Overview】 ■ Challenges - There are limits to reducing the cost of materials - There are many factory inspections, and they want to keep the work site clean - There are many female workers, and they want to reduce the labor involved in cutting heavy ducts ■ Results - The processing man-hours for wiring ducts (setup, cutting, cleanup) were reduced - Waste due to processing errors was eliminated - Marking of ducts made it easy to identify installation positions, improving work efficiency - As a result of reducing man-hours, personnel could be assigned to other tasks - A series of efforts and costs related to offcut disposal were also reduced *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Lightweight and Oil-Resistant, Meeting Various Conditions

Superior heat resistance significantly improves specifications compared to PVC ducts! Case study on non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts.

Company D is engaged in various semiconductor manufacturing equipment businesses, with end users spanning both domestic and international markets. In recent years, the keyword "halogen-free" has been increasingly emphasized from an environmental perspective, leading to an interest in and adoption of non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts. The ECO duct, which was already part of the product lineup, had issues due to the characteristics of its material, such as being "hard and brittle" and "weak against oils like lubricants." However, this duct not only addresses these issues but also enables cost reduction of the product itself by using polypropylene. [Overview] ■Challenges - Want to use ECO duct, but it is more expensive compared to PVC (vinyl) duct. - ECO duct is made of hard material, requiring effort to cut. It also has weak oil resistance. - Longer lead times compared to PVC duct. ■Requests - Quick response (within 3 to 4 business days). - Hardness that allows easy cutting by female workers. - Minimize procurement costs as much as possible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Achieving Improved Exterior Appearance in the Factory

The protection of electrical wires also helps improve the aesthetics within the factory! Case study on the introduction of non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts.

We are primarily engaged in the design and manufacturing of labor-saving devices centered around production equipment for major manufacturers, and we also undertake modifications and rearrangements of equipment. We have been selected by Company H to use non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts for the protection of cables wired within their factory. Initially, they were using PVC (gray) wiring ducts, but there was a request from the user for a less conspicuous color for cable protection. Our ducts are ivory-colored, which is close to the color scheme of the factory, leading to their adoption. While the ducts provide protection for electrical wires, they have also been evaluated positively for contributing to the improvement of the factory's appearance. [Overview] ■ Issues - They want to use ducts for cable protection in the factory, but gray is too conspicuous. - Other manufacturers only offer large ducts for accommodating small amounts of electrical wires. - Large ducts are costly and cumbersome to process (time-consuming). ■ Requests - They requested ducts in a color close to that of the factory or a color that conveys cleanliness. - A wide variety of sizes and ease of processing are desired. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Inventory Reduction, Effective Use of Space

Eliminating losses due to ensuring safety during operations and processing errors! Case study on the introduction of wiring duct processing services.

Company K designs and manufactures high-voltage receiving equipment, and as a result of various considerations to meet customer demands for short delivery times, they decided to adopt our services. Through specification meetings with the design team, we created drawings for the ducts and delivered them in set packaging, with processed ducts packed by production number. They are very satisfied with the fact that installation work can begin immediately after receiving the products. Additionally, they have effectively utilized the space created by reducing the inventory of standard-sized products, and they have also appreciated the reduction in duct waste, contributing to environmental considerations. [Challenges and Requests] ■ Minimize cutting and processing ■ Reduce inventory (standard-sized products require large boxes, so space must be secured) ■ Difficulty in storing and disposing of duct waste ■ Eliminate losses due to processing errors ■ Respond to short delivery times (delivery within four business days from order) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Reduction of Work Hours and Maintenance Hours 02

No delays in delivery, enabling work to proceed as planned! Case study on the introduction of non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts.

A manufacturer of LCD manufacturing equipment with a significant share both domestically and internationally was using sheet metal processing for wiring protection around the baking equipment in the array process (exposure). However, due to the very high costs, poor workability, and heavy weight, they were looking for an alternative wiring protection material to replace sheet metal processing. Upon considering the non-halogen flame-retardant PP duct, they found that it could achieve approximately a 60% cost reduction compared to sheet metal processing, while also offering better workability and lightweight properties, receiving high praise for this. Additionally, since the temperature around the baking equipment is higher than usual, they decided to adopt this duct, which is a type 2 heat-resistant duct. [Overview] ■ Issues - Sheet metal processing is very costly - Long lead times - Extremely poor usability, making wiring work difficult ■ Requests - Desire to use a low-cost wiring protection material as an alternative to sheet metal processing - Heat resistance is essential - A product that is easy to handle, even for women, with good workability *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Significantly reduce the total cost of operations! Case study on the introduction of wiring duct processing services.

Company T is a panel manufacturer focused on the production of distribution boards and control panels for major electrical manufacturers. This time, in response to a large order for the same type of panel, we aimed for efficient manufacturing and proposed a service that was adopted. After implementation, we achieved reductions in unseen costs such as labor hours, inventory management, and waste disposal costs. There were concerns that the cost of purchasing materials might increase, but we received very high praise for ultimately reducing total costs. [Overview] ■Challenges - Calculating the necessary duct sizes and quantities is cumbersome. - There are quality differences in duct cutting depending on the skill level of the workers. - Waste can occur due to processing errors. - Disposal costs for scrap materials are incurred. ■Requests - We want to reduce various labor hours in mass production projects. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
