Liquid Crystal Polyester Fiber (LCP Fiber) "Siberas(R)"

High intensity, high elasticity, low elongation, low water absorption, low creep, bending fatigue resistance, vibration damping, strong retention rate, flame retardancy, heat resistance, insulation, abrasion resistance, metal alternative, lightweight.

"Shiberasu(R)" is a super fiber made of liquid crystal polyester (LCP) that exhibits special strength comparable to metal wires and chains. While it has high strength, it also possesses the unique "lightness" characteristic of liquid crystal polymer fibers. Even when used underwater, it does not absorb moisture, nor does it change dimensions or become heavier. When compared by strength per weight, it reaches about 35 times the strength of metal materials such as wires and chains. It is particularly adopted as a metal alternative in marine environments, including in the fields of shipping, energy, offshore wind power generation, and fisheries. 【Features】 ■ Special strength comparable to metal wires and chains (about 35 times the strength of metal materials) ■ Combines the lightness unique to liquid crystal polymer fibers ■ Does not absorb water ■ Unlike metal wires and chains, there is no risk of rust or deterioration ■ Customizable to meet customer needs ■ Expected to reduce work load due to weight ■ Less likely to tangle and twist compared to wires and chains ■ Environmentally friendly and non-contaminating as it does not require grease, unlike metal wires and chains *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
